Seeing you do this behind-the-scenes composing type of stuff is awesome, man!
Thanks for watching Devin!
I'm getting big Song of Storm vibes from Ocarina of Time here, love it!
Gotta love Ocarina of Time!
Really fun to watch.
Thanks for checking it out :)
Awesome Vid. I think you missed flutes or piccolos for the birds lol. Great seeing how you worked this one out from a brief from AI! Understood what you meant about being magnified in the thought process rather than not having the idea to glue together the composition.
Brilliant ! I love watching you work Andy, we defimitely write with a similiar process, you are just drastically better with the tools you have haha.
When I move on to writing music, I'd love to have a setup like yours, full of sounds you can pull up, chuck in or never use.
Even then I would probably still go for a "less is more" approach with a score like this, I'm a tad particular about my spookie vibes and a stoic believer in "the power of silence" (t.m)
But you're the professional, I'm not, this sounds great but maybe a bit too "Movie Trailer" for my tastes.
I'd love to see you do more of this stuff!
Maaaan, this was so awesome and fun😃🤟👌👌
Cheers! :)
Man, this is fenomenal I want more!!
I want more too
Cheers! I'll be doing at least one of these a month :)
@@andygillion that could be a great series mate!
While I was listening to your video (which is very inspiring I might add), I was playing a game called Dredge. It is a cool little game where you go about in a little boat in a Lovecraftian universe. When you started noodling with the accordion, it was totally in key with the game and fit the games music. In an odd way it was a very cool moment :'-)
Haha that's awesome! I was in the barbers the other day and the trimmer was humming perfectly in the same key as The Backstreet Boys on the radio 😅
@@andygillion Gotta love how life has music weaved through everything. Even a trimmer. Wonder if the thickness and density of your hair will alter the pitch.. Hit a big chunk and get the EEWOOOH
Genius at work!
You're too kind, mate
Man, I cannot get that waltz melody out of my head. Nice job and great insight into your creativity. Looking forward to more.
Cheers Roger!
great video. it's awesome how you get in the atmosphere during composing and add tracks that really lift the mood and well... great job. You matched the mood with the composition. I was trying to figure out what the result would be, a kinda adventure or horror score I had no idea but then I got the thread and its awesome. Well done.
Thanks for watching! 🙏
fluegelhorn best instrument :D
Never any doubt!
This ist awesome, totally lovin that theme ❤
Cheers!
This was a really fun watch 😃 Even though I'm not a musician myself, I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this video! Love your creativity process! Keep it up!
Also, Arcade Metal Vol. II Soon? 🧐
Thanks for watching! :) Currently trying to finish up a new melodeath album, then probably Neverafter II, then hopefully Arcade Metal II!
@@andygillion Oh wow, that's actually more than what I was hoping for! Neverafter is one of my favorite albums of all times (remember ig comment that I have Black Lotus set as my ringtone ever since the album came out? 😁). Love all your work man. And I love concept albums, so sequels are more than welcome! And melodeath album as well? Sheesh, what a time to be alive! Cheers 🤘
Hey Andy, awesome video starting off with a small melody and then expanding it into a masterpiece, when will the new melodeath album be out?
Thanks dude! Tracking drums this month, then finalising the mix/master and it's done. Just got to launch it. I am hopeful it will be in the next few months. Thanks for asking!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Damn that's epic. How long did you need for this? You're just so easy with it, man...
The stream was two hours long. I could have fleshed it out more but I prefer keeping to a deadline
@@andygillion I'm just amazed you can come up with this stuff in such a short time...
Well yeah I imagine a full-day stream would be rather tiresome, for everybody involved.
second :D
First! :)
