I’m faded af and this was deep af. I feel the message big time. I mean damn i’m a white construction worker with a shaved head covered in tattoos and people try to talk about black people in a negative way all day long if they don’t know me. About half way through the convo I pull out my phone and show him my 4 year old little girl and she is half black American and half white American then it’s oh I’m not racist and I have a black friend and this and that. Black people aren’t treated as if our live matter equally which is the message of the BLM movement. It’s not to say only black lives matter. It’s to say they matter equally. It’s unfair how they treat us. Therefore, expecting a city to be burned down if he was to get killed is highly unlikely in my opinion. I also will not ever act as if all white people are responsible as I have served in the military with all walks of life and will happily go to war for them if need be. Just my opinion.
