Hi Keren! I'm into Fine Art and I've known about masking fluid and wax resist for decades!! Lol!! I'm really artsy. I immerse myself in art every day all day long and I adore it!! Art is my God because I've been abused all my life and I use art to heal and cope with my difficult daily life. I have to get injections twice a day and they're really painful. My Mom has to feed me too but luckily I can do some art and watch UA-cam and that takes me away from all my problems. I don't know what I'd do without my Mom. I love her so much. I'm the lady who does everything lying down. You have been so kind to me. Some days are Dark for me but I think about how grateful I am!! Thank you so much Keren! Take care and maybe one day we can collaborate!!

Thank you Karin! I laughed when you said shhhhh! I have always saved burnt candles, used to clean them and put them in my scrapbook layouts, but you can't really do that when your kid turns 25! Another use for them, finally!😃 Love your videos, keep them coming, please!

I recently started antiquing things for a friend of mine and I too used wax and Vaseline everyone thought I was crazy but it works

Another childhood reminder....i sharpen crayons randomly over paper...white/coloured/painted.Then i place anoher paper over this n iron the whole thing.The shavings melt,leaving behind a pretty kaleidoscope......kiddish yes!But then I never grew up!
oh wow I think I want to try that.... do the shavings melt on both papers? and do they stick to each other or can you separate them. I could also use parchment paper instead
@@KerenTamir i found that at times the.papers stick a bit but u can carefully separate them.I also found that the topmost paper gets the colour..the one below registers the colour with a little halo around..looks.like bacteria！i feel.it also depends upon the paper....I tried out junk paper.Going to.check.out some.more types....

WE USED THE WAX AND WATERCOLOR TECHNIQUE IN SCHOOL AND WITH A HOT IRON AND NEWSPAPER WE GOT THE WAX OFF. IT'S MESSY AND SAVES SOME MUSCLE ACTION. THANKS FOR ALL THOSE NICE OPTIONS.

I've never seen eucalyptus trees in person so I wouldn't be able to make that connection but I love that my art reminds you of that. and regarding my accent, it's funny that you say you love it. as a 15 yo immigrant coming to Canada 30 years ago, I hated my accent as I wanted to be like everyone else. I didn't want to have an accent but by that age it's hard to loose it as I still have it so many years later. I think its time to embrace it and close the circle!! thank you for those words they meant a lot to me.

Another great video. Just to add my two cents worth. If you want to mimic heavy body acrylics you can mix the more fluid ones with cornstarch.

Combine masking tape or contact paper to create stencils them dripping melted crayons can also get some amazing affects too. Then when you remove the making tape it can get super cool.
