    ================
    In 1974, in the wake of the Nixon Watergate hearings, Ram Dass produced a box set of LP’s called Love Serve Remember. Included in the set were excerpts from a radio show he did that consisted of Q&A from audience members. It’s amazing how relevant Ram Dass’ answers to these questions are to our own very challenging contemporary times.

    At times (like just now) when I listen to Baba Ram Dass' words and teachings, I am overcome with what I would perhaps describe as a psychedelic consciousness. A feeling like on the giddy comeup of a strong LSD trip, and in the effervescent moments before crying. It is a bittersweet clarity interwoven with love and understanding. Much love to anyone reading this and indeed to all beings.

    I am so grateful to be listening to these audios. I'm speaking this message through tears because I need to find some kind of solace in the midst of dealing with cancer on top of chronic PTSD from childhood trauma. My therapist said this would be a holy venture and I understood what she meant but there are times when I feel utterly lost and like my life is falling apart around me financially emotionally spiritually and actually maybe that's a good thing. Because of the trauma I have isolated myself and have lived in fear all of my life, I am 67 years old with 33 years sobriety. Not that I haven't had some good moments in my life, the fear and isolation created from deep trauma has itself been like a cancer stealing parts of my life from me. I don't know what it is I wanted to ask or say... Could you, the narrator, please reply to me and give me anything that you think might help me? 🙏

      Dear Maurice, I'm so grateful for these podcasts also for I wish to let go of fears.
      As a suggestion along your healing path Richard Grannon is a new thinker on trauma and has UA-cam videos on PTSD and what he determines as CPTSD and free online courses also available. Much love 💕🌟🍀🙋

    The first time I heard about Ram Dass was in a video about psychodelics, in the video only say that he and Timothy Leaery were the pioneers of psychodelics study. In that moment I was so afraid of death and it was causing me a lot of pain and fear. I didn't know why I choosed to follow Ram Dass instead of Timothy Leay but after the first twelve episodes I know why I picked Ram Dass and he knows too.
