    Hello Nhely - visible difference - thanks for sharing. I learned the hard way about the light transfers and lint - it took only one garment for me to get it. :-)

    Ok, so which side would i print on? I was loading the paper with the name showing and it was working fine. It was when i did a cut out design that it got stuck to the heat press.

    If I'm printing a logo and stand-alone words (all only using black ink) on a yellow shirt, would the light transfer paper work? Or would it leave behind a white color since I'm not using a white shirt?

    how do you see the white on the paper from coming through?

    Great video, your shirts look great. How do they hold up after washing a few times?

      Hi, the transfer paper for light-fabrics will start fading/cracking after just a few washes, they're ideal for one-time use (birthday parties, special events, etc). Transfer paper for dark fabrics holds up for a few dozen washes, I have used it for businesses in the past, it has better durability.

      Hi, I'm glad you find my videos helpful. Unfortunately, I haven't used any pigment printers so I wouldn't be able to personally recommend any. I'm sticking to heat transfer vinyl and transfer paper for now.

    hi, i'm having a hard time getting an accurate print color to my dark transfer paper. i'm using i-tech brand. i test print with my copy paper and it looks fine, but when i print in my dark transfer paper, it goes yellowish and other colors, i have to edit the color settings but the quality is not as nice. also, when i press without transfer film, my prints goes shiny but yellowish color. Thanks in advance if ever someone can help.

    Is the heat transfer vinyl printed in first then cut or is it just the color of vinyl? Can you print the whole art on heat transfer vinyl, cricut cut, then weed and press the whole thing?

    • @NhelyDesigns
      @NhelyDesigns  3 роки тому

      Hi, the heat transfer vinyl that I use comes in a variety a different colors, but no you cannot print on them, you just have to buy a different roll for each color that you intend to use.

    What is the durability of each ?

    • @NhelyDesigns
      @NhelyDesigns  3 роки тому +1

      Hello, for dark transfer paper, I have washed the garments dozens of times without a problem. Light transfer paper will last a few washes before it starts fading/cracking, but it also depends on the heat source that you're using. A heat press is going to give you longer durability than a home iron.

    Can Tide sue you for printing these t-shirts? Or if you sell them can you get in trouble? Thanks

    • @NhelyDesigns
      @NhelyDesigns  2 роки тому

      Yes it is copyrighted, however I don’t think would can get sued for making them tor yourself. But you could get in trouble for selling them

      @@NhelyDesigns Thanks. Fyi I get great results from the SS sheet but I have to melt the image in with a lighter or heat gun after peeling the paper. This bakes the image right into the fabric, looks darker and last longer in the wash. Cheers

    Unfortunately what is not mention in this video is durability, wash and stretch test ... feel on t-shirt ... I tried all sort of HTV papers, this is one of the most expensive, it peels of as much as the cheap ones, it cracks really easily, and it feels awful ... I do not understand why people do not mention the tremendous downside !!! you cannot use this c***p even for your kids shirts.

    • @NhelyDesigns

      Hi, the light transfer paper isn't great when it comes to durability, it's best suited for one-time use (e.g. matching birthday party shirts), but I find that the dark transfer paper (3g jet opaque) and heat transfer vinyl will withstand quite a few washes.

    • @rebelboyz8337

      @@NhelyDesigns Nha the opaque is the same ... and as soon as you stretch the t-shirt they release straight away .. $ 3.50 aud per page .. no way no worth it. Is all false advertising.
