I grew up in Pennsylvania. Faygo has been around long before these nitwits came along.
Yes in penn you know about it. Its in that region. These guys made it popular for the entire country and beyond. I do not like these guys at all, but theyve created their own business within a subculture thats recognized around the world. Faygo wouldnt be nearly as big as it is without them. Faygo is gross btw

They're absolutely right. As a Juggalo still around from the 90s, NOBODY around the country outside of Michigan would know about Faygo if it wasn't for ICP. They were a small company, with ONE plant, in ONE city, until ICP latched onto it. That's what spread their business around the country. They basically had a free Marketing and Advertising team (ICP)running around the country for decades. I mean it's almost to the point to where they could prove it in court lol. All you have to do is track the growth of ICP as a national entity, and then look at the spread of where Faygo is sold over that same period of time, and the growth of their business... @@ducklife420 It might have had some small outcrops here and there where it was sold, in the area AROUND michigan.. but it wasn't much. All they had was moderately sized plant there in michigan, they were a small business (and still are to a certain degree, but much bigger than they were)... I grew up in Kentucky, and I NEVER saw or even heard of a Faygo until after I heard of it through ICP. Detroit, a few places in Ohio, Indiana and surrounding states like that may have had it in a few places, from that Michigan plant, but thats it. You can get it damn near anywhere now. And if you track it's growth, it goes right with the growth of the Insane Clown Posse.

We used to get huge Faygo bottles at the old grocery store in town for 49 cents cause we was broke and that shit was good. Then I'm listening to ICP one day and I'm like "YOOOOO Faygo!" They definitely deserve some sort of compensation for real they turned everyone onto them shits

I was so salty when Sheetz stopped carrying Faygo, it was the only place around here to get it. Black cherry was my go to, but the rootbeer tastes like a rootbeer float and the hawaiian punch version was dope as hell too.

Dollar Tree sells Faygo, might want to give them a look in your neck of the woods. Also, fun fact, if you see Shasta soda, it’s the same thing as Faygo, as they’re both owned by the same parent company, National Beverage Corporation.

I know about Faygo from Food Town and Kroger being in Toledo OH. Artic Sun and Fireworks are my two favorite flavors

I wouldnt of known about faygo without knowing about it thru ICP and im not a huge ICP fan either but i respect these two and their hustle. Seem like good dudes.

National Beverage owns Faygo, same company that owns Shasta and a bunch of other soda and snack brands. Juggalos are probably not even 5% of their entire business. But they should at least do a limited flavor for them, thats maybe just for the gathering or just regional in detroit or with certain stores. They have absolutely grown the faygo brand the last 30 years. Have ICP do store signings to promote it and it would sell out immediately they have real loyal fans. But I'm sure since it's a thing kids buy they don't want to promote an explicit group with a soda brand. Especially since it has to do with clowns.
Faygo used to be a Detroit owned and Michigan made product until few years ago then it was sold out to Sundance beverage Corp out of Florida so no longer a true Michigan owned company

@@Udontlikeice Exactly. It's the choice for people pinching pennies and couldn't afford the major brands, that happened to be where ICP grew up, we had Faygo in Ohio too and surrounding states. I don't know if the pricing affects much these days, but back then it did and you could get more soda "pop" for your money buying Faygo and or other cheap store brands. This should be well known by anyone that claims Juggalo. Hell, even if you don't claim Juggalo it should be well known Faygo was a low cost alternative, unless you grew up with the means to not drink such things... ICP has talked about this before, so it's not some secret.

went to NELSON LEDGES the weekend after a juggalo festival to see ekoostik hookah and the FLIES from all faygo were EVERYWHERE .. every campsite was COVERED with faygo on every surface .. every tree .. every rock .. all the trails in the woods were COVERED with flies.. lol

I would see faygo but I don’t drink much soda anyway and thought that the bottles were too big. If it wasn’t for THIS video, I wouldn’t have know that the two were connected because I never listened to ICP and only knew of them from seeing a group of people wearing their shirts in high school.
The family owned grocery store in my little town here in Texas carries Faygo. Surprised me.
In my area you have go to Banana box grocery or an Aldi to get any.
Today (Sunday, April 14th, 2024) I had my first ever Faygo at home that I bought at a local conveniance store the other day. It was the blue, cotton candy flavored one. Thanks to ICP, I've been curious to try it for many years but I just never came across it anywhere. Now I have... and it was good! I also listened to _Down with the Clown_ again to commemorate the moment before I took my first sip haha. Because that was their very first song I listened to years ago after I was done with high school and decided to see what ICP was about on my computer I had back then. I had a friend in school that was really into them and I decided to finally check them out for myself.
I plan on trying the other flavors too, eventually. 🤡

I knew about Faygo way before I knew about ICP and with that being said they deserve a endorsement from Faygo because they are the only known celebrities to make that soda brand famous. If you grew up in the 90's then you know that Faygo and Big Shot sodas was the cheapest drink you could buy from the corner store.

I don't that Faygo would ever have a Ginger Beer but I sort of say that a hot spicy ginger beer or a bold ginger ale sort of like what Canada dry used to do would kind of be a cool flavor which would kind of reflect ICPs personality and persona.Certain types of ginger beer,quite,spicy,rough,bold,intense, harsh and something which kind of doesn't go down the smothest.Ginger beer is also something that certain people strongly love and certain people strongly dispise which is a quality that I.C.P has as well.

Growing up here in rural Oklahoma, I never saw Faygo anywhere.
It wasn’t until I worked in a prison here.
They sell faygo in the canteen for the inmates to buy. Staff can also go to the canteen and buy stuff.
That was the first time I ever had Faygo. That Dr Faygo actually isn’t bad. Doesn’t taste any worse than many of the other knockoff Dr Peppers, and it was way cheaper. Definitely worth paying 88¢ for a 20oz Dr Faygo.
They should start their own soda brand, Fayg.

Faygo is crazy for not jumping all over this. All they would have to do is supply the 2 liters for stage, add their logo on promotional material, and to make up any money on just that they could have their own people selling Faygo, cups, shirts and hats at every event. They would get back way more than they spent.
