Love your trailer, I already use a jetski trailer for my kayak, but looking a converting a ATV utility to carry kayaks and your ideas are great. Thanks for sharing.
Leland Adamson If it was wood runners, I’d put carpet on them. I fixed my little issue with cutting the channels in and adding the 90 degree’s on the end.
Dude this was the most thorough of explanation. Im glad you shared this, I also watched the other utility trailer build which was also helpful. You've got a sub from me also because Im into air soft as well.
ok how about no mtl. track, just notch 2x6 attach all to wd with lags and screw eye lags . don't like the exposed sharp mtl. maybe tip 90's in toward ea. other creating a "V" to center yak when loading .. just a few thoughts ..
Sure. I followed other trailer builds and made some modifications. After the build, I always think that I could have done it a different way. I'm always moving things around. Everyone can learn from my mistakes. LOL.
Nice Kayak trailer!!! Going to attempt to build, but where did you purchase your metal Super-Struts? (To extend the trailer mounts for the Conduit pipe.)
The 4" Pipe would have been much better , and then you would have your Clearance from your Small Super Strut ! Great Video 😎👍
I agree.
@@TroysHobbies love what you did to the Trailer 👍
@@Sanctified_Leather Much appreciated. Would I change a few things, of course. It's truly never done. Haha
@@TroysHobbies Totally agree . It's looks Great, and you helped me with what I'm going to do with my Harbor Freight Trailer. Many Thanks 👍
Why didn’t you put blocking under the gray pvc instead of cutting the metal Channel to raise it up
I didn't want to raise anything up anymore. My back is shot from multiple surgeries. I might redo everything this late spring.

Thank you.
put some out door carpet on the runners. It would help you load and unload and movement on the trailer when you are one the road.

To avoid rubbing on the tubes, could you put a spacer under the tube to raise it up? Just wondering if that would work.
Dave Deutsch probably, but I didn’t want to raise it up higher. My back is shot. The lower it is, it’s easier to load or unload the kayaks.

Michelle Estes Thanks!. I bought the struts from Lowe’s. I believe they’re for electrical boxes. Check the electrical department.
Good stuff, thanks :)
