Hello I just got a Macintosh se FDHD and I’ve tried this website in the past for emulated machines and now I need help on how to get other software besides the OS like Mac paint or Mac write etc but I don’t have a second hand Mac with a high density drive or any second hand Mac is it possible to buy an external floppy drive with high density disks and just simply drag and drop or do I need a specific kind of drive or software because finding the right software for sys 7 is hard to find in physical form other than file form please help 😢
Hello, my apologies for my ignorance, but instead of using the power Mac you have can I use the power Macintosh 9500, it is a tad older than the one you are using here on this video to create an OS for the Macintosh Plus. Thank you 🙏🏼
I have a Mac plus, but it doesn't say it on the front... There is just the apple logo... On the back it says "Mac Plus 1 Megabyte"...The serial number next to the brightness control says F44053BM0001W.... Doesn't this mean it was built in 1984?.. I'm a little confused. Can you help?
@@ezContents Thanks for your help.. I found out it was a 1984 Mac 512k that was upgraded to Mac Plus from a kit Apple used to sell... The kit replaced the board to 1 meg, the floppy to 800k and even gave you the panel to put on the back saying Mac Plus 1Meg
System Error 15: Macintosh programs are broken up into segments, and each program will always have at least one segment. Multiple segments allow loading parts of the program into memory to provide more room for data in internal RAM. The segment loader is responsible for loading a needed segment into RAM. If the segment loader can't do this, you'll see this error.
Thank you for clearing that up. 🙂 So it can be solved by adding memory to the computer, or do you think that the program is not dealing with loading of these segments correctly?
Wow! Brings back lots of memories with my Mac Plus! Thanks!
I love Dungeon of Doom! Played this as a kid!
Wow, System 6 - those were the days!
Excellend video. Thanks!
Great tutorial!
Very nice tutorial.
Thank you.
Will this also work with an iMac g3 beige minitower?
Good video. You should install a firewire/usb card in your power macintosh. Skip a step. Go to a usb stick
Good tip! Thanks, I will look into it.

Is it possible to create a boot disk from a modern Mac with a usb floppy drive to write the boot disk?
As far as I know, it is not possible.

I am not sure. Probably not 1884 :-) Maybe you can ask @DosFox1 on Twitter.
