Yea so the odds are 1/384 so just do the math, (383/384)^1000 what do you get? 7.3% chance that you don't get a knife.

Clearly you don't know odds work yes it's a 1/384 CHANCE not a guarantee, you could open a million cases and get no gold or you could open 100 cases and get a gold every time it's the way rng works
