First Liberated Genesis Weapon in GMS

- I thought I'd never be able to accomplish this due to (what I thought were) class limitations..
I'm proud to be the very first in GMS!
The quests have been fun and some challenging, but ultimately rewarding. Thank you to my amazing party for everything. I look forward to each of them liberating soon in the coming months! And thanks to all of you for your support along the way :D
The weapon comes with the following:
Completely scrolled with 15% Spell Traces (+8)
22 Star Force Enhancements
Unique Potential
Epic Bonus Potential
Tanadian Ruin & Aeonian Rise skills
Unable to hammer, innocence, star force enhance further, trade or transfer.
Able to cube potentials, apply flames, apply soul enchanter & soul.
I plan to flame it gradually, and cube it during the next cube sale(s). (Thank you so much for all who donated flames during my liberation party!)

To be totally brutally honest, I don't think I will ever get that weapon. I will still enjoy playing maple though, But congrats! Getting that weapon is a serious accomplishment.

@@elyasaf755 Kill the black mage to obtain a sealed version of the weapon, then do 8 quests which involve killing some of black mage's commanders under certain conditions, while needing to kill black mage again each time to unlock the next quest. Takes total of 8 months to complete and then you get the (mostly) finished weapon at the end.
@@banegms Well, mostly finished except you still need to buy a ton of cubes to get the potential right?

You can't reset the scrolls/enhancements. But the weapon is already fully scrolled with 15% scrolls.

It would be cool when the story progresses to the point you are fighting gods you unlock a 6th job to wield power beyond genesis.

It cannot be rescrolled, and I'm slowly working on its flame and potentials, it'll come sometime!
The only thing left to do now is to solo the black mage. You can actually do it with your dps!
I'm not sure if I can do it with my current dps! Especially off-burst, my damage is mediocre. Maybe if I were able to get stronger..
@@banegms Good luck! I'll be happy to see you do that one day. I know 90k main stat gives some classes a very high chance to do 10bil with minimal buffs.

Being an aussie player I can only dream of being able to some of this content, lag makes it impossible to beat some bosses solo :(
If I can do it, so can you! (Also an aussie player.) The lag can be pretty rough sometimes though :c
@@banegms That makes no sense to me, just watching your gameplay it looks so responsive and I can barely see any hint of delay, maybe I just have a shitty connection or something then? For example on the magnus fight I get killed by the bombs before they get close enough to actually make contact. I genuinely thought this was an average experience for aussie players but if this can be fixed I'm keen AF
@@seancurtis1199 The gameplay here is all sped up but I do get affected by delays in most of my runs (e.g. where I just pause and do nothing). I mostly just react early and work around the lag.

I've just been 80k for the majority of the journey. I borrowed some equips for lucid which put me at around 83k

Thanks, and I used "9th Anniversary Prime Scroll for One-Handed Weapon" for my arcane.
why did you pick an axe instead of a mace？shouldnt you have picked a mace like your arcane mace？
I picked an axe because at the time, not many people had genesis weapons and I liked the look of the genesis axe. But if I had to go back and repick, I would choose mace due to having more anvil/appearance options
Can you make a video about good areas to grinding 250+ as a demon slayer I'cant find really good places to grind ,in end game areas like liminia ,moobridge etc..
I've been wanting to make a proper video about it but haven't trained or know actual rotations for a lot of maps. There are also some other maps that might be good for Labyrinth, such as Deep Core 3 and 4, but I haven't tested myself.

Curious on your thoughts between ruin force shield and princess no's accursed shield. Do you use both and switch between them depending on the boss?
I had mixed thoughts about ruin force shield for quite a while until recently. For ruin force, I've only really used it for my one and only hlucid solo. I didn't really like using it (the increased damage taken) so had since switched back to my regular shield. But it's not too bad tbh, I think I just wasn't used to it. I know some other ds's switch shields depending on boss e.g. switching to regular/pno for lotus, black mage, maybe will, etc and uses ruin force for others. And there are some godly control ds's that keep ruin force on for everything e.g. Elluci. Nowadays I'm starting to keep it on and see how it goes. It's not too bad combined with BoD of course..

I used to think DS did not have enough lines/dps to clear some of the genesis quests but after attempting and succeeding, it seems that we're not that bad!

Dude! Best inner ability and hyper skills for DS? (I forgot to ask this)
For Inner Ability, 1st line 20% Boss Damage, 2nd or 3rd lines 7~8% damage to abnormal status mob or 21 attack. Alternate 2nd/3rd lines would be buff duration or % chance to skip cooldown (less beneficial to damage but still useful, depending on preference). Hyper Skills depend on where you're at in the game and also preference. Demon Impact - Reinforce and Reinforce Duration, Demon Lash - Reinforce, Extra Strike. Last one can choose between Demon Lash - Fury, Dark Meta - Enhance, Dark Meta - Reinforce or Demon Impact - Reduce Fury.

1H Mace and Axe are the same for demon slayer. So the choice is either for aesthetics (anvilling) or for resale value (non reboot).

Bossing trio would be Demon Lash / Demon Impact / Cerberus Chomp.

@@banegms last question and one of most importants. Spot for training? My DS is 203 and I can make legendary items asap :3 Common is 200-210: Tranquil erda. 210-220: Slupry Forest. 220-225: Gallinas. Are this spots also the best for a DS?
@@FakesmileStreams The standard spots are pretty good for DS, too. 200-210 Below the Cave or Eastern Cave Path 2, 210-220 Slurpy Forest Depths, 220-225 Revelation Place 3 would be better than gallinas due to the mob density there

Maplestory sure has changed a lot. Havent played in years haha. I think i quit right before the big bang update. Sure was fun being a beta tester too. I remember playing this with my brothers being like level 15 while fangblade was barely at level 40 and there was only a 2nd class advancement at the time and orbis wasnt even out.

Demon slayers aren't too bad! Not the strongest but not the weakest either. And class relative strength changes pretty frequently so don't let that hold you back from anything
