I had an incredible play with Loki a few days ago. I was playing against taskmaster and there was an event in play that said all allies have -1 strength. My opponent had four allies in different locations, but didn't have the right strength. I made a deal with the player, if they moved to Viking Loki's location on the next turn, I would get rid of the event for them. They said yes and it gave me just enough mischief to play power of a god on a hero they had with six strength. I then played power of a god, getting rid of every ally they had. Then all I had to do was get one more mischief and play it and I won the game next turn
Moving to others boards is a really cool idea I know I had a custom idea that's my original Kingdom Hearts Villain who's thing is he has to move to another domain every turn. Nice to see that coming official in a small way.

Just so I've got this correct, the players Locator doesn't have to be on the same Location as Lady Loki for that player to do the effect. They can just do this when they draw back up to 4?

I wish there was more info on the Fate Cards if only so I had more of a reason to gush about them haha. I adore how a lot of Loki’s Fate cards also mess with Hela’s style too, since many cards in his Fate Deck can’t have Soul Marks! Which is excellent since a lot of people have said Hela is one of the most powerful Villains in the Marvel set, and it makes sense since Hela and Loki often deal with the same people haha
I've got a way to use the most brilliant jest. If a Thanos player has someone like black dwarf in your domain, black dwarf is (to you) considered a hero and, therefore, susceptible to the effects of the most brilliant jest.
Is there a new neutral fate deck? If so, how do you mix it with the other game? Can you just pick your favorite heroes and make your own neutral fate deck?
They didn’t give rules on mixing! But there is another common deck - so I would say you could randomize which one you use or make your own mix using same amount of heroes - events and effects!
I have a question about Loki's Fate Card Payment Due. the exact text on the copy I have is "The Targeted Villain must either pay Power equal to the number of Multiverse cards in play. If the Targeted Villain is Loki, move that number of collected Mischief back to the unused pile." Was something left out or is that a typo?
I'm not sure why Marvel Villainous doesn't have good reviews. I expected it to be the same as Disney. I like Disney Villainous and don't see why this isn't as good. Any thoughts on this?
There was some rule confusions and a few loud folks posted negative videos or posted on it. The set isn’t as bad as it’s reviews. It in fact has sold more than Disney Villainous! It is definitely more tailored for higher player counts like 3 and 4 - but this set adds good 1v1 variety as well as multiple player variety!
I think that it is because Marvel Villainous is more complex than Disney Villainous. There are many thing similar between the two that some people may just want to play Disney Villainous because it is easier to teach and play.
hey i just noticed in the strategy part you say its smart to use the power of a god on avenger hulk to "vanquish" it but the card states remove not vanquish so wouldnt it negate hulks ability and thus not be able to "re use" him for mischief use?

Great video! However, I'm kinda confused by this deck. I don't keep up with Loki in the comics so maybe I'm just missing information, but why is Thor an ally? Also, is having different versions of himself going around the multiverse really that big of a part of his whole deal?
So this is more in line with the Multiverse Comics as well as the new Marvel tv show about Loki. He always causes confusion and mischief so this was a way they designed him to give that feeling. Also Thor is an ally since there is a multiverse this is the version of Thor was worked alongside Loki :)
In a lot of the recent comics he is more of an anti-hero, so occasionally allying with Thor (as he did in the movies) is not out of the question. As far as the multiverse stuff goes, they basically took different forms he has taken on in the comics and themed them to the Loki tv show.

Multiverse cards are not treated as Allies or as Characters. They say they work similar to Allies because the benefit is unavoidable to the player it’s domain belongs too. The only way to manipulate the multiverse cards are with cards that specifically say “multiverse” in them

Hey I got this from the villainous wiki page and wondering if anyone can elaborate on it because it just happened when I played: It is possible for Loki to be locked out of being able to win. This may occur when Ragnarok is in play, and/or Odin All-Father and one other Hero are at Bifrost and Sanctum Sanctorum. Loki must also have only cards in his hand that require Mischief to be spent, meaning that Loki cannot play or discard any cards. Potentially, Loki may be able to play a Fate card that will allow him to remove a Hero from his own Domain, such as Found by the Avengers. In any case, consider being willing to let Loki play or discard an Effect without requiring or following any actual card text. Does anyone know how I can go about this and see if there are any other solutions and a better explanation?
I've heard that some have theory crafted this. At the end of the day the likelihood is really unlikely. But also it still hasnt come up in any of the games ive played as loki and ive played too many to count.
Question: If King Loki is in Hela's domain, and Hela uses the Midgard Serpent to vanquish heroes, does that count as as one vanquish action per defeated hero, or just one vanquish action period?

Yes the player’s mover piece can be at any location for Lady Loki’s ability to activate.

The dark green Loki comes in the regular version. The blue transparent one is the exclusive piece that comes with the Target version of the game.

Just one vanquish action, since a vanquish action is whenever one or more allies attack.

Not really. He has always been good at causing problems an mischief - but he’s never really ruled over something. I think good he struggles for power
More advice for fate cards from his fate deck if playing as Loki, Use Banished on Ultron. Odin all father to Hela's realm with Thor Odinson fate card.
