First full day in the You and Me Resort in Maldives. The weather is rainy, windy and cloudy (great start) The food is sooooooo good. We schedule our dives for the week with Emperor Divers, they checked our new (used) equipment that we bought. Still trying to find equipment to buy for her. Our water villa is so freaking amazing. Ahhhhhhh. Love this. Tomorrow we start diving

how did you book the seaplane/speed boat? through the website from you and me or separate?
Hello. At the time we went there, the resort had just opened and the seaplane was offered by the resort. Our advise is to book where you find the best offer. Hope you have a great trip there
what month was it? also how was the visibility and other conditions for scuba diving when it was raining. planning a liveaboard in october. thanks
Hello, thank you for reaching out to us. It was in july. We got wind and rain all days, so the visibility sometimes reduce, although it was over 15 to 20eters every dive. Temperatures of 28°C until 30 meters. On of the days we got strong winds and the waves were crazy, we missed the dive spot and had to swim a little to reach it (all of us had this problem that day). Overall amazing warm water, great visibility and wildlife (from dolphins, turtles, to smaller ones)

Hey is it safe to travel in boats from airport to the resort during rainy season?
Guess common sense will apply, if there are no condition for a boat they will not do it. And, as soon as conditions improve, they will resume the boat rides. Sometimes heavy rains and winds, that will interrupt both boats and airplanes, are a question of hours. Hope we helped, but if you still feel in doubt, contact the boat company

What is the weather in July i want to ho on 4 July
Hello. Thank you for watching. We were there in July from 8 to 14 I think. We got rain everyday, but not the entire day. We got strong current in the water below our overwater villa. Still was hot the entire day, the water was warm and was a good experience, still can have lot of tain and strong winds. Or you can have a great weather :) hope we helped

@@vishalencraft2358 we can only sugest the You and Me because it was the only one we have tried so far. The overwater villa was an incredible experience in iur life. As for how many days, it depends on what you plan to do. Must people go to Maldives to relax in a beach paradise. Of course you can do many things from your hotel like diving, kayaking, dolphin watch, visiting sand banks alone. It is not like how many days do I need to visit a city somewhere

How rainy was it? 1 or 2 hours rain a day or so?
During the night it was pouring rain 3 or 4 days. During the day, we had a day with extrem wind and a lot of rain. The rest of the days would say 1 or 2 hours raining yes. But it depends, you can go in the same dates and have a lot of sunshine
