I've had my Galaxy a32 5g for 3 months and I love it , this phone replaced my Aging Google pixel 3 which was showing its age , this phone is smooth and fast enough to do anything I need it for , the cameras are actually good , the screen is perfectly fine for a affordable 5g phone , it's not a $1.200 Galaxy s21 ultra . It's a great phone for the money .

i have the phone and its pretty good + the main camera can be set at 48mp through the camera settings which takes more detailed photos, 12mp is the default as in the video. the display is more than ok for me so are the colours. Games and apps dont lag and its an overall good phone for its price. Battery life is really good and lasts long. Good durability, it fell many times on all surfaces even concrete and it survived without significant damage. I would say go for it
Its a PHONE not a laptop or a camera !!, it drives me crazy how everyone expects everything, does it make and receive calls ???? Job done, seriously !!
I was actually looking for Samsung phones with LCD display, because I'm sick of Amoled displays giving me eye pain and headaches. This is a great option for me to save my eyes.
@Ct pizza actually, he is not wrong. my 720p Nintendo switch remains more then good enough for my games and gives me zero issues with my eyes. I cant say the same for my phone, I keep having to lower the brightness to the minimum in order to not get a headache. not everyone can take that kind of brightness. you know like not everyone wears glasses.
I went from a Galaxy S9 to A32 5G. The resolution difference is noticeable although I almost don't mind it. It's a bit softer on the eyes tbh. The 5G speeds in my area seem to be equivalent to 4G. The camera is probably the best thing this phone has going. Overall this feels like a downgrade. For $200 or free, it's not too bad though. Originally I was going to use my insurance to replace the S9 with another S9. Which would've ended up costing me about the same.
I came from an s9 and I'm honestly not missing much. S9 was probably my best phone I've brought but I also use 2 phones so this gets the job done. Got it for $169 so no complaints from me. Didn't break the bank and if I get tired of it I will just get another phone.
Had this phone for about 5 days now since my galaxy A8 2018 edition decided to die, no regrets choosing this one as my new slave. The screen is nice, camera is a big upgrade from a 2018 device, not a single app has shown any lag yet. Only thing i dont like is the size, its almost too big of a phone to my liking. But great phone overall!
I'm literally in the same boat rn, smashed my a8 2018 on both sides, and the g32 is definitely better ( I mean anything is better considering my a8 froze and restarted, then froze in restart, so u had restart the restart) but everything is better on this phone then my a8 pre life support

Samsung's way of turning their customers to their cheaper 4G devices because they won't have to buy expensive 5G chips and wait till it actually becomes mainstream.
That phone is a disaster compared to the 4G version, I do not think it is worth paying more than 200 dollars for a phone with a tft panel, hd plus, 60hz, low brightness and a fast charge of 15 watts.
Give that to my old parents and they wouldn't even notice... but they'd be still familiar with the Samsung interface which in my opinion is top notch, besides there's still many assistive features of upscale model like my S9+, you get regular updates and as a bonus I don't have to learn another interface and tricks when I have my own roundup of updates on them.
@@pixels_per_inch they're all TFT, it may be or maybe not IPS but I reckon it should be. Still, I have fond memories of some TN panel that I've got in the past, including a Nokia that was more legible in sunlight than modern 800 nits monsters thanks to a transflective panel sandwiched in-between the layers.
The 3 years of major OS updates and 4 years of security updates is impressive considering that none of the competitors offer it. When you factor that their flagship's used to get 2 and the mid-range and budget 1 it's an enormous jump. Also a big jump was the fact that their UI got from buggy to snappy. Although I must say that Xiaomi (main competitor) have great software support, I've been more than satisfied. Of course my mom's in her '80s and this phone is wonderful in her eyes as it does everything she needs it to do basically just texting, talking on the phone, and every now and then taking a few photos which turn out pretty good. This description is unaligned with that given for the same phone in most videos and texts. I read dozens of A32 5G reviews prior to selecting one as my next phone, and they call it a step up from the 4G version, rather than a downgrade. You cite a 720P LCD display but every source names a 1080P AMOLED display. You cite a 60Hz refresh rate but, in fact, it has a 90Hz rate. My phone arrived today, specifically the 5G A326U, and it fits the descriptions given in a dozen other videos. As an aid to current users, please ditch the "downgraded" model that you apparently received and review the model everyone else has.
@@kamrulhasan-xd9wd I was looking at a selection phones for around $200, and this won out. It has wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses with resolutions running up to 64 MP. I was leaving behind a laggy Samsung J7. The A32, with speeds of 90 Hz and 5G, will serve nicely.
@@chitrakshisharma4275 It's a nice fast phone. It wouldn't beat the high end Apple and Samsung phones perhaps. But mine arrived months ago, I still like it, and I'm keeping it. There is no lagging. As for the camera, I use the Macro, Night, and Wide-Angle settings all the time.
Great phone! Former Samsung Galaxy top tier ridiculous prices no more. By the way Metro T-mobile having a special promotion event switched over to Metro received my phone free. 🥳🎆
I picked this up through a pre-paid plan for my daughter, she really likes it and it's a nice snappy phone for a budget. My nitpicks include the glossy back, so I'm getting her a case to go over it. All in all, not a bad little rig for only 200 dollars.
damn, you guys picky, it's a 400$ phone, what'chu expect? an apple? honestly the fact it has 64gb of space is hella impressive, I WAS STUCK WITH A DODGY GOVERNMENT PHONE FOR YEARS yeah i'm pretty happy with my phone.
I've had this phone for 20 months and use it heavily for watching podcasts and listening to music. Since I replace my phones every 2 to 3 years because of battery degradation. I wouldn't spend over 300 for a phone. The phones camera, processor and speaker sound is average. What shines is it's 5000MAH battery. What I don't like on this phone is the poor screen resolution. This is what ruins this phone. Watching podcasts or reading on this phone is tedious even with the brightness always kept at maximum. Outdoors viewing texts or reading emails is extremely difficult. I'm hoping battery life technology improves where you can keep the phone for several years. Then I would buy the top of the line phone at whatever cost.
Honestly, I thought I'd be a little unhappy with the lower resolution, but compared to all the higher resolution phones I've played around with it looks a whole lot more natural and softer on the eyes. The problem isn't the resolution with the other phones, but their colors are always ultra bright and unrealistic, looks like a billion candle power floodlight lit everything instead of natural lighting. The reverse is true in games though, if it has stylized cartoonish graphics the higher res phones look a lot better. I don't take a fuck ton of selfies, and I don't play games on my phone for more than a few minutes if I get stuck somewhere, everything else is perfectly fine with it, and for a phone you can get for like 60 bucks through a carrier, not bad at all.
I found this phone to be a generally reliable and very enjoyable phone for the average person. I bought one for my mom and it does everything she could ever want it to do with features left that she will never use so it's a great item for her. I also bought one with a cracked screen for almost nothing just so I could play with it and help her if she needed it and found it to be a very good phone at taking night photos of most things and quite capable of all day-to-day functions. In fact it was used by Boost as one of their main phones for switching from another carrier. If a person doesn't have all the money in the world this phone but get a person by just fine. Nice video, you have a friend in Columbus Ohio :-)!
Nice video, but got it wrong about the screen, what I'm seeing in your video is the stock 720, but there is a button that I call the HD button on the drop down menu on the second page that lights up the screen.

They're still making trade offs in performance in order to put AMOLED in budget phones. Definitely the case with the Moto G31 5G. I could list nearly 20 spec related reasons why A32 5G is the better choice I think the more savvy customer will choose performance over Amoled. That said, the term AMOLED in marketing material SELLS! But yeah, I agree 100% that having performance and Amoled at a budget pricepoint will be great.
How is it running so far any issues with touch or battery? Heating, network issue? Am confused what to chose:/, seen many reviews of poco x3 pro with ghost touch issues and battery drain. Also, few sensor and network issue. Want a phone which will last me atleast 3-4 years.😥
@@shiba0737 I'm experiencing ghost touch once or twice a week when using it (specially when playing Dead by Daylight Mobile) and right now, while I'm typing this comment. With the battery, its very good and it takes a day to recharge.

Very good review. I wanted to upgrade to the Galaxy A32 5G, but I think I am going to wait for the Galaxy A22 5G. It has a better screen which is the one thing on a cell phone you use all the time.
Coming from top tier samsung switched over to Metro T-mobile received A32 5G free. Enjoying the phone very much. The savings huge. No more spending $$$ for me on top tier ridiculous prices. Woo-hoo!! 🥳
Probably because the review is about a BUDGET phone, not a flagship phone. Did you not read the header, or are you simply trolling because you are bored?
Had it become atleast AMOLED despite of being just 60Hz and only having 720p resolution it would've been very much understandable but I dunno what's wrong with Samsung releasing this alongside A32 non 5G but with Full HD 1080 AMOLED screen and 90Hz refresh rate. Surely they will try to upsell this in North American and European markets as a cheaper alternative to their Galaxy A52 5G.

Recently nabbed this for only $24.99, I'm going to appreciate the huge battery coming from a battery guzzling ailing 2020 iphone SE. Entering my mid 30s, my smartphone needs have massively changed from years ago, occasional call, once in a blue moon cat pic, mostly browsing, youtube, and texting/IMing these days. Never really been a mobile gamer, I honestly found most of them predatory pay 2 win crap. Headphone jack and sd card slot are huge pluses to me. As an aid to current users, please ditch the "downgraded" model that you apparently received and review the model everyone else has.
what’s your opinion about this phone??
@@kamrulhasan-xd9wd I was looking at a selection phones for around $200, and this won out. It has wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses with resolutions running up to 64 MP. I was leaving behind a laggy Samsung J7. The A32, with speeds of 90 Hz and 5G, will serve nicely.
my phone is coming today and I have seen many negative reviews can you tell me your experience with the phone whether I should keep it or not?
@@chitrakshisharma4275 It's a nice fast phone. It wouldn't beat the high end Apple and Samsung phones perhaps. But mine arrived months ago, I still like it, and I'm keeping it. There is no lagging. As for the camera, I use the Macro, Night, and Wide-Angle settings all the time.
Not a perfect phone but it is a budget phone after all. It's hard not to be pleased after switching from a cheap Motorola phone.
For the money, it is hard to beat!!! I have one and its great...
I've had many phones some cheap some expensive and I love this phone no regrets
I agree kind sir
Specs look good, in fact a very affordable Samsung phone and that too in 5G. Good choice of Dimensity chip too
@Oliver Smith. Can you change the sim card and uses a Tmoblie sim...or is it a built in battery please and thanks
I dig it, cus i only use it for calling or texting and sometimes youtube watching, so not that much, plus the huge screen is a plus for me
Huge screen? You're rocking 13cms, aren't you?
@@jcas9362 yes
I bought one, it works for me just fine
The phone I have is the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G and I am very pleased with it.
Bro, I always used your website to check phone specs. I just found out about your channel now. Automatically subbed😌
Same here bro! Over the years they also have upgraded their services.
Same here. Just now.. 😊
It is pretty affordable for a 5G smartphone which is a plus - and the Dimensity 720 does not seem like a bad choice as well.
Great phone! Former Samsung Galaxy top tier ridiculous prices no more. By the way Metro T-mobile having a special promotion event switched over to Metro received my phone free. 🥳🎆
Considering buying this device as my second smartphone. I hope the Dimensity chipset in it does a good job.

I picked this up through a pre-paid plan for my daughter, she really likes it and it's a nice snappy phone for a budget. My nitpicks include the glossy back, so I'm getting her a case to go over it. All in all, not a bad little rig for only 200 dollars.
damn, you guys picky, it's a 400$ phone, what'chu expect? an apple?
honestly the fact it has 64gb of space is hella impressive, I WAS STUCK WITH A DODGY GOVERNMENT PHONE FOR YEARS
yeah i'm pretty happy with my phone.
I am just in love with it
I've had this phone for 20 months and use it heavily for watching podcasts and listening to music.
I'm watching with my A32 5G and so far it's pretty good for me also its pretty good from T-mobile
Yea the phone is so good
Honestly, I thought I'd be a little unhappy with the lower resolution, but compared to all the higher resolution phones I've played around with it looks a whole lot more natural and softer on the eyes.
Can u tell me
@@abdullah_khan176 what's that?
This is a good option in the 5G segment.. the camera looks great and the brand made a good choice in terms of the Dimensity chipset
@Lucas Brown. My camera is horrible. I just bought it a few days and my 🤳and other people pictures are looking old and funny...it loses 🔋when charging in the 🚗 barely picking up wifi...man it's a mess & besides the sales rep. @ metro has no customer service 🙃 full of s...

Both front and back camera?
The A52 5G is quite fast, but when casting a film to a TV at high quality, it stuttered a little bit, so medium quality is recommended.
It is unfortunate that Samsung lowered the screen resolution on the 5G model. Even the Moto G 5G has a better screen
They're still making trade offs in performance in order to put AMOLED in budget phones.
Definitely the case with the Moto G31 5G. I could list nearly 20 spec related reasons why A32 5G is the better choice
I think the more savvy customer will choose performance over Amoled. That said, the term AMOLED in marketing material SELLS!
But yeah, I agree 100% that having performance and Amoled at a budget pricepoint will be great.
No regrets on choosing my POCO X3 Pro instead of these 2021 A-Series 😌🔥

How is it running so far any issues with touch or battery? Heating, network issue? Am confused what to chose:/, seen many reviews of poco x3 pro with ghost touch issues and battery drain. Also, few sensor and network issue. Want a phone which will last me atleast 3-4 years.😥
@@shiba0737 I'm experiencing ghost touch once or twice a week when using it (specially when playing Dead by Daylight Mobile) and right now, while I'm typing this comment. With the battery, its very good and it takes a day to recharge.

why not use their own midrange 5G chip, exynos 880
Looks like the perfect 5g backup phone. Thanks, I'll drop a like!
Wow. You must have gotten a bad one. Mine, the A32, is way better than the one you are reviewing. You got a lemon, man! My A32 has perfect colors, perfect camera, perfect sound and is way fast.
I think if you just need a phone for calls and text with other light use this is a great phone
did a side by side on this and the a32 4g, this seems to be better bang for your buck, with only the screen as a downside. thanks for all your reviews !! you have helped me pick phones throughout the years :))
I'm getting I'm getting a Samsung Galaxy A325G for replacement phone that my insurance covered And you gave me very good overall review thank you I'm glad I'm getting a decent phone
Woo-hoo!! 🥳
I had the A22 it was a good phone but last week it got stolen so I'm getting the A32
Why do people complain about a BUDGET phone with BUDGET specs? Go buy a $1000 flagship.
Surely they will try to upsell this in North American and European markets as a cheaper alternative to their Galaxy A52 5G.
yeah my parents just brought 2 of these after I recommend, stupid greedy Samsung/sales clerk for pushing this one on them, the town doesn't even have 5g
Nope. In Hong Kong they straight up don't have the 4G.

3 years later, and mine still runs great.
@JerriadReagor-kp2vu I can see it in the Play Store, yeah. A console just for a gacha game is a bit much to be honest, a phone might be a smarter move. Happy Bday to your son by the way. 👋
My A32 5G can go up to 90hz on the refresh rate, maybe there was an upgrade?
I was not paying over $200 for this phone..I looked around until I found a deal for $130 and my first month of service was free.
When 300$ phones are budget devices
Considering all the things you can do with phones now it is. This ain't 2005
Considering flagship phones are $1000+ yeah this is budget friendly

I wish he used visual-descriptive language rather than audio-descriptive language to describe a photo.
Do yourself a favor and invest a few more dollars for the A52 5G, much better device and still great value!
Almost got that one but this fits my needs more and it has a larger battery.
Been watching your reviews. Are you Filipino ?
Just curious 😊
I just got this Friday and I love it!
Thank you for this review. Already I’m moving on to the next one with this. Also camera specs are important these days so I’m still conflicted.
Well my att version has a 90hz refresh rate with 2160 capability so maybe the company makes the difference?
4g vs 5g model.... The 90hz is the 4g model which is the better choice between the two!!
@@MrRunItUp well, the 5G model has its 90hz version also.
Can you use the USB-C port instead of the 3,5mm jack?

Or do you need to use headphones with 3,5mm jack?
I got this phone and is using it right know it's not bad screen is nice and big I got no problem with it
my music if i want on you tube goes loud and soft it is horrible
Recently nabbed this for only $24.99, I'm going to appreciate the huge battery coming from a battery guzzling ailing 2020 iphone SE. Entering my mid 30s, my smartphone needs have massively changed from years ago, occasional call, once in a blue moon cat pic, mostly browsing, youtube, and texting/IMing these days. Never really been a mobile gamer, I honestly found most of them predatory pay 2 win crap. Headphone jack and sd card slot are huge pluses to me. Cameras and specs are good enough for my needs, I guess that sums up the phone as a whole, for most people I think this would serve well. I may honestly hop around from decent enough budget Samsung phone to the next Samsung as the years go on if they're this cheap and decent
Are you missing a digit for the cost? :D wow
Ya I will keep my s10 plus. Still a beast and can get a really really condition s10 plus for $330
I have this phone and I like the screen it’s awesome!! :D
i would love to see more testing, specifically in the pokemon go space
I just got one of these two weeks ago. Beats the heck out of my old Samsung Galaxy S5. But am I missing something? How do you shoot pictures in 48MP? All the pics I've taken so far seem to come in at 9MP.
