    Click bait. It's fossilized dinosaur prints. They should have asked a local. We've known about them for many decades.

      You’d be surprised what people don’t know that locals do. Like in Mississippi we grow bamboo and cocoa trees but so many “sources” say America doesn’t have the right climate for it. You can grow just about anything in Mississippi lol

      Click bait doesn't mean they lied. Click bait means they misled. Bait and switch.

      There’s proof that a 2 legged living mammal could have made those prints, scientists found fossils in 1900s

    When I saw the picture, I immediately assumed Sauropod tracks. It’s awesome that a riverbed of ancient settlement captured remnants of a time long passed.

      Back when these were left, this area was ocean front property...
      We have a small natural history museum in the area, and they have five different sets of tracks, left by creatures in the sand, supposedly 100 million years ago ..

  • @robrob5081
    @robrob5081 Рік тому +6

    You could see them in the first picture anyway. Clearly the water came up and washed the mud out of the tracks, making them stand out more.

    In the north Texas river of Biloxi River, I have walked on similar tracks in that shallow river. It's now a Park and can't really be accessed, except to be seen from above. Fascinating place.

    As a river meanders doesn't it move from its original flow over millennials? A million years ago this could have been a swamp before the river took over.

    “If I misidentify something, my reputation is gone” if that’s what it takes to lose reputation, reputation has no foundation. Or opinions carry too much influence.

    Is nobody going to talk about how the satellite image missed the tracks 1 day earlier? But then they "suddenly appeared" lol ok.

    That river hasn't been there for 100 million years, probably not much older than the end of the last glaciation in that area.

    I've always wondered, how did the footprints last so long along the side of a muddy riverbed that they became rock...
    hmm.

    Okay, so why haven't they found these tracks before? And why is there only one set of tracks, did they all follow the same tracks?? Also is it possible these tracks were enlarged by weather and water over time?? Surely this is not a mystery with today's technology!!

    • @M.Campbell
      @M.Campbell Рік тому +1

      People in the area could have known about them but until the photos came out it wasn't a big deal. They could have eroded out relatively recently too. Many places in Texas have ancient tracks. The river has uncovered this one set of tracks but there are likely many more under the land around the river. 100 million years ago the lay of the land was very different. It could have been a shore line or a mud flat.
