This might be my favorite of the wordle concept spinoffs. I also recommend Semantle, which is less about spelling and more about definition/meaning. Pretty neat.

- Placing guess for puzzle 2, line 4 - DELVE
Guess #2 for question 2 (it wasn't DELVE): PRIDE (PRICE works equally as well, but it's not my guess)
After him guessing CLICK, PRICE is no longer possible, but PRIDE still stands!
He guessed PRIDE, now the only other possible word I see is PRIZE, which is my guess. I missed it earlier

Finally someone to mention Mastermind with Wordle.
Originally Mastermind was A game like wordle you have 8 guesses and need to guess the combination of 4 out of 6 colours. Then you have different colours for right colour In the right spot and the ones in the wrong spot, like In wordle.

I’ve been playing mastermind with my grandfather for years with an old board of his and seeing wordle for the first time made me think a lot about that game, so finally seeing it in action is really cool!

When you did CLICK you Said something smart about not to use extra letters so it would have been smart if you wouldve use L or I in a different position instead of the ”right” one bc if so you could se witch one was right or not, i know it also could have been C that was yellow or smt like that i just think that wouldve made it easier
i loved to play mastermind with my dad growing up and wordle reminded me of it as well! a lot of people didn't know what i was talking about when i would mention it so it's a relief to know others saw the similarities as well!

Hey Scott! I know that nasty liver gumbo has become sort of a tradition. Also it sounds pretty good. But playing today i noticed that gumbo uses some rather rare letters like g,m,b. What I first thought of was cough as a replacement, but maybe dough is worth consideration. They still use g, but including h and d or c seems profitable. What do you think?

But i rarely use all the words, I use them in need when i don't get any or i get 1 or 2 letters
@@jonpumpkin first, i use least (but steal or stale would probably be better) then I use either proud or finch, depending on what happens with the first word. I also like the words mound, cough, and dough like the OP said.

3 yellows in liver, and still gets surprised that click is wrong.
With the three yellows in the second game, what you could have done was guess 1 letter on the same spot and two other letters on different spots, maybe something like "legit". If you had greens and yellows you could have maybe deducted more then
The minute you got that result for Slime I was SURE it was gonna be Pride. Fully did the surprised pikachu face when that turned out to be incorrect, and I did not guess Prize before you haha

For word500 they should make an expert mode were there is only 6 guesses
That sound to be impossible and very luck based.
You can play word500 in 8 different languages. Expert mode is solving it in a language you don't speak.
Seems impossible but it's totally doable. 7 random guesses and then logic on the last word. Doesn't matter if you don't speak Portuguese, you can still guess "zebra" "pasta" "hotel" "email" "viola" etc and then solve on turn 8

You should try today’s (April 15th’s) Squardle! I did it, and it had some unique words!
I love your videos and watch them everyday! Day 2 of trying to get Scott to solve Kilordle. Kilordle is 1000 words HOWEVER you DONT have to manually type in words that you see that have all greens. ❤️
I think it is good to check first as many different letters as possible, later look if some letters repeat

My dad and I made up a game when I was little that is this but with only the yellows given as a clue and all calculated in our heads by memory

13:00 What about a guess like Rival? If you had 1 yellow left it confirmed the I or the V is in the word, if it still had 3 yellows you know the E isn't in the word and any greens would either be for the L or the R, and if you ended up with 3 reds you know the E is in the word.

in this one wouldnt be like the opposite of wordle? You would want words that have the same letter multiple times

It boggles my mind that someone did not come up with this simple game (by that I mean WORDLE in general) a lot earlier. Someone comes up with it and we have multiple variations.
You Need To Try Kilordle There 1000 Wordles But There Is A Twist That Makes You Get Myltiple Wordles At Once If All The Spaces Are Filled So You Dont Have To Use An Additional Guesso

Try the words GLIME BUFTY SPANK CHORD for your next octordle because they leave all the uncommon letters out
Start with flame shunt brick podgy it gets all the vowels and many common consonants for word500
My strategy for Mastermind is always been pick a random however many are in there and work from there if you get a worse rating you may have done something wrong otherwise keep going with that assumption oh, it's kind of just a guessing game the way I do it

Okay two suggestions! One I recommend you try Chessle it’s basically wordle but for chess and two I recomend you start with flame pound crwth and skiey trust me some of these sound ridiculous but they are all words

When you were guessing “CLICK” were you on Standard mode (no repeats)?
After finding out gumbo has 0 letters, I would have used combinations with the remaining letters just to find more letters.
Ouch! CLICK was a terrible guess. It couldn't have been the solution, since we knew the solution will contain three of the letters from LIVER, and CLICK only contains two of those letters. Thus, CLICK was nothing more than a probing word, and with two Cs and a K, it was a very poor probing word.
I also didn't like SLIME as a guess. That also couldn't be the solution (we know there is no S in the answer), so it also was a probing word, but at this stage there are better probing words than SLIME.
After that, you were on track with your guesses of PRIDE and PRIZE.
