HEY YOU ABOUT TO POST SOMETHING STUPID:
Yes, I know my hands are large/fat. It's because of a heart condition I suffer from called Congestive Heart Failure. Here's a link to some information about CHF: cle.clinic/2TdS2Ux
One of the symptoms is that it causes fluid retention, mostly in the hands, feet/ankles, and face..

Thanks Paul! To deactivate the auto power off; hold the key down for 2 seconds and switch the meter on;)
Thanks for the info!
Great tip. That also worked for my cheap knockoff.
The More You Know!
God Bless.
Good review and i like the screen auto-light feature when current was detected
Thanks for the review Paul.
As Flo. born and raised, 60 degrees seems nice; but not normal.
Missing DC current means not good for electronics use but for household, that meter is fine.
Thanks for the review Paul. Hope you have a peaceful and not too cold Christmas. Feliz Navidad as they say down here.
Thanks for the review I am getting one in a few days it looked like a decent meter for the price...Jay
I bought the one like this that does ac and dc amps.
love mine so much I bought a second one to carry in my Jeep.
Mine works to show the parasitic draw and the starting amperage just by clamping.
I wonder if the capacitance measurements were affected by the stray capacitance of your hands effectively being in parallel with the capacitor itself? Maybe worth testing in a breadboard so that it is not necessary to hold the capacitor?
Hi, is there a DC current feature on the Clamp?
i bought a different brand, but same type. didnt get how to use it properly B4 watching your demo, now im all over it. thanks for making it simple to understand
11:15 - to deactivate the auto shutdown... the manuals seems to say from the OFF position, hold the function button for two seconds then turn ON. 😂 so the 206a version doesn't have the NCV function?
Looks like my Uni-T. I like Kaiweets meters and they are good quality so I expect you will get years of service from it. I recommend an AC line splitter so you check the amperage of your appliances. Makes it much easier than removing covers off appliances to isolate hot wires.
Thanks for review. 10:07 AC current, I count 10 measurements in 4 seconds that gives us 2.5 measurements per second. I am little disappointed as expected 4-5 meas/sec.
I've already got Habotest (Kaiweets) HT208D Clamp Meter, AC/DC 6000 counts. Great device, but I am looking for additional clamp meter with 3 decimals on low AC currents and shortest delay possible. That brings me to AC only and NOT T-RMS. The choice is limited then with HT2000A, HT200B and HT206A. Unfortunately different revisions of HT206A exist. Early versions were not T-RMS, they can be identified by limited resistance range 40 kOm only and no capacitance. But now looking on measurement rate I am not sure that it is not T-RMS anymore. T-RMS label missing on body but mentioned in user manual. Maybe on 4A range (0.001A resolution) the rate is faster. Anyway, thanks again for your video, it gives me a lot of thinking.
You mean. I could just drive to give you this book?? I live in Chillicothe. Not that far. Matter of fact, I’ll be making a trip to to Ripley next week. Would love to give my favorite Tuber a firm 🤝 and a hug.
God Bless.
I paid the big bucks and went with the Kaiweets HT208D AC/DC clamp meter. Supposedly it can also measure inrush 👍 We'll see ...
Nice product
Yeehaa! Kaiweets!
I think these are more catered to electricians than electronics
