KAIWEETS Digital Clamp Meter T-RMS 6000 Counts, Multimeter Voltage Tester Auto-ranging, Measures Current Voltage Temperature Capacitance Resistance Diodes Continuity Duty-Cycle (AC/DC Current)
True-RMS clamp meter: This multimeter can accurately measure AC/DC Current, AC/DC Voltage, Frequency or Duty Cycle, Resistance, Capacitance and also provides Diode, Continuity and Temperature tests. True RMS for accurate measurements on non-linear loads. Easy to use for labs factories and household.
LowZ & LPF: Low input impedance helps prevent false readings due to ghost voltage. Low Pass Filter (LPF) for accurate measurement of variable frequency drive signals when measuring motors and transformer. To measure the current you need to clamp the meter around one of the wires and not the whole power cord.
NCV Detection Function: Non-contact voltage detection effectively check electrical status through measuring EM field intensity without touching any wires; The NCV button lies on the right side. Simply place your thumb on it and push.
Safety Service: Safety standard IEC 61010-1, CAT III 600V. Double insulation. 36 Months product service provided. 7/24 Customer Service.
I recived my kieweets today its a friday and Im gonna test it on my AC unit cheching a capacitor 50mf..I think its shot...on yr video it looks very usefull mine is brand new too.
I got one as a gift almost s year now, thanks for showing me how to use it.
I am no electrician but glad to help!
I wish I could test npn and pnp transistors, so far I am extremely pleased with this multimeter
That is more advanced than me! I just use it for basic house work stuff
Just picked one of these up on Amazon w coupon they have going. Cost me around $28 plus tax. My first clamp meter.
I haven't used mine much. Hope you get more use out of yours!
Very thankfull vedio 🙏🚩❤️
Glad it helped
Wonderful video thank you very much, cand you also make a video on the kaiweets HT208D.
I don’t really do tool videos anymore. Sorry
At 1:53 you are measuring current draw no volts correct?
Thank you for the review. This might be just what I am looking for if it will read DC current as high as 50 amps.
I will try to check it this weekend. I have many meters and I don’t use them that often😀. If you go to the listing on amazon and ask the seller directly, you can find out too
It'll even read DC current as high as 600 amps, so 50 should be no problem.
can it measure inrush current?
I will be honest I am not familiar with that measurement
the min-max mode should be able to read the peak current, if your device just draws the max current on startup. If you have peaks higher than the initial one later on, then it'll record that as the peak, but usually the inrush is the highest that you'll see.
@@hwingerrr5680 ok thanks!
everything except the clamp?
Not sure what you are asking
@@GelBallBlasterMaster You know, the clamp. The big black button on the top left that opens the "clamp". How does the clamp meter on a clamp meter operate.
If it was lcr and had inductance measurment and 1000 A it would be beter
This is a pretty inexpensive option.
@@GelBallBlasterMaster i know i want to find something like that cat 4 fused true rms lcr clamp meter with high precisoion and 1000 A and inductance measurment
What is lowz
Not sure what you are referring to
@@GelBallBlasterMaster It's one of the dial settings....at the very bottom.
Can you check Amps with this?
I believe so. I am sure the Amazon page lists all the specific features too
did you ever find out if it did amps
@@davidsmith5766 i have not!
This would be much better video if you actually performed the tests.
Yes. It would be. I am not an electrician and I will rarely use any of those complicated functions. I change outlets/breakers/etc but nothing too complicated. When someone offers to send you free stuff and this is all they request for the video then that is what I did.
is this a good product?
For homeowners/DIY, yes. Probably not for an actual electrician
Why did you constantly remove and reinsert the probes? Do it once and explain the correct position and stop going back and forth. Wasted effort and definitely not how it would go in the real world.
Sorry, I am not an electrician and I don't claim to be. Just trying to show the item in the most basic way
@@GelBallBlasterMaster not trying to be antagonistic, but this is just basic stuff. It is immaterial what your background is. Don't do the same motion over and over again in the same 5 minutes. If you were taking 5 items out of a drawer, you wouldn't pull the drawer, take one item, close the drawer, wait 30 seconds, open it again, remove a second item, close it...
@@realSamAndrew Thank you for the feedback. Please check out more of my videos too.
He put each set of probes in literally one time each. What video did you watch?
@@Deerector this one. Have you had your eyes examined recently? And can you read?
