Entirely too long!!! This was a closed shut case, it’s evident when they can get a plea for 4 life sentences. There was no reason for 6 years to go past!

I can tell you know NOTHING about the legal system and how someone being charged with 4 separate murders with 4 separate victims and a defendant who was incompetent for some time. On top of covid. But even if covid wasn't going on, almost 700 depositions over 500+ witnesses and the state seeking the death penalty..yea this is very reasonable. Hell YNW melly been looked up for four years on a double homicide that is just going to trial..it happens

@I dont care anymore he's going to be happy couse when they ship him to prison he no longer has to eat the rotted dumpster slop Hillsborough county feeds the inmates . Im actually surprised they haven't killed anybody feeding them rotton rancid food . Plus he gets to go out on the yard and lift weights play baseball and football walk around . After 6 years in Hillsborough county that'll feel like heaven to him vs being couped up in one room for all that time . But ya personally life behind bars vs death penalty i would have been begging them to just kill me .

I don’t care if they are 8 or they are 38! If they are a convicted serial/ mass/ terrorist they should receive the death penalty as the only option; carried out no later than a year of conviction, unless an appeal is in progress.

I drove for Lyft in the Tampa Bay area at night time from 2016-2020. Lived over in Clearwater across the Bay (SR-60 Courtney Campbell). I would always start my nights at the Tampa International Airport and then would always try to make my way over to the bar district (South Howard Avenue) or (Ybor City) right when the bars were closing due to the surge rates. Howell Donaldson worked nights over at the McDonald's over there in Ybor City. He would get off work around between 4:30 a.m. - 5 a.m. in the morning. I would usually get stuck over in that area receiving ride requests. I picked him up 3 times after he got off work after getting a Lyft requests from that McDonald's. (He was having car problems at the time with his Red Ford Mustang). I vividly remember picking him up because he used to live in Town 'N' Country off of Millwood Drive. I was excited because his particular ride / fare would bring me closer to my destination home because I would try to end my nights around that time before the morning rush hour traffic would pick up. I would joke with him thanking him for bringing me closer to home jokingly telling him he was doing me a favor. We made small talk. He was relatively quiet but somewhat polite. When the news broke and they identified him as the culprit behind these murders I couldn't believe it. It was such a tense time period living in the Tampa Bay area during this time period.

42:00 Monica's father 54:00 Ben's sister - These are 2 of the most moving and emotional victim impacts I've heard. They come from 2 different places but share the same meaning and loss, grief and pain. I empathize with the families of the victims. And hope That they are finding their way without their loved ones. I hope that Ben's sister is finding some peace inside her heart she moved me, the power in her words and the love that this family shares is beautiful. Monica's dad reminds me of mine I miss him terribly. The bond and relationship him and I had is like no other. A girl and her Daddio that relationship/bond is second to a mother and her child....RIP the victims of hate and gun violence

For them to then address the sister about only making remarks to the monster! For his atty to be scowling at Benjamin’s sister is disturbing. These people have every right to feel the way they do. His sister is right, has the mother called him in from the video, it would have saved several more lives. May each of these families hearts heal & their pain be less each day.

I agree with every single thing Ben's mother & sister said he's a coward a monster.
He should have been given the death sentence he wanted the easy way out life in prison.
Well I hope he suffers every day for taking these four innocent people lives rip and God bless the families ❤ 🙏

The death penalty is the only appropriate sentence in this or any capitol murder case, or the cycle continues it's as plan and simple as that.

They say he has mental disease seeming he not only one do the people see how the courts is so considerate to them, accepted plea deal quick with no extra questions. The family's needs to make state go back and put motion in to sue him that any money he makes, or any money from commissary has to be paid to the families. They need to think even though he has to do life he still has one and now at any time someone might want to do a movie or book deal just like they did with others in the past. They can't get loved ones back know amount of money equal life I bet he will work and get paid, and his family is sending him money. They need to sue so he and his family does not go a day ever forgetting otherwise within time they will look and move past it.
