I have had several different models in this series, and the MX ERGO is definitively the best. Mine holds the charge, but makes a high pitch sound when being charged, and sometimes when the mouse is activated after being idle. Not loud, but kinda worrying, those batteries can be some nasty little firecrackers. Heavy, easy to clean, and great for popping heads in Far Cry with the 50 cal sniper rifle. Also, Satiè in the background, good choice. One of my favorites. Excellent vieso, thanx 4 sharing 🙂👌
Hey there. I had a hard time finding that size torx driver. I tried a .050” Allen key and it lined up! Because it’s so long, I was able to get to the two deep screws and removed them without drilling them out
I've got to do the same thing to my MX Ergo that I bought in 2019. Surprisingly I even ended up buying the same battery before I knew about the video you made and linked in the description. Good idea on using the drill for those 2 stubborn screws. I'll probably have to do the same thing to mine.
LOL thanks for the explanation about the T6 screws. I need to replace my battery too, it only holds its charge for a week or so now before I have to recharge it. I didn't leave mine plugged in all the time, though, the battery just fell off a cliff. Otherwise I love this device. Have you had any issues with the replacement battery since changing it?

Unfortunately, I’m having trouble posting a picture on this reply! Thanks for your video!

Dude, please put a link to the mask loop face thing you are wearing, please!
