Repairing Another Broken Old Vintage Super8 Film Projector

- I've been given yet another broken vintage Normal8 / Super8 8mm film projector, the "Prinz Mirage IQ De Luxe Dual 8". So, let's look inside to see if we can figure out what is wrong with it!
► NOTE
I'm making an emergency drive belt only to check if that gets temporarily the projector to work again, or if there are any other mechanical faults present. This avoids me spending money buying a drive belt I may not even use if the projector is completely broken in the first place.
► NEXT STEP
Buy a replacement belt and a light bulb, and we have a working projector!

Always make sure you operate in a safe and secure manner.

I have a fenco dual 8 zoom deluxe and the rubber broke. Do you think it would also work melting the rubber and joining the parts? :)
Rubber traditionally does not melt, but if you have nothing to lose, you can always try
How do I synch the image so its lined up in the frame? ... Ie so the bottom portion doesn't appear at the top.
With the Prinz (that I got rid off so cannot confirm), I thought this was with the Framer button
Do you have any suggestions how to replace the screen? Mine is ripped.
Do you really need a (projection) screen? A while wall of white sheet often can do the trick
How well does this hold up? Would taking some sandpaper to the rope, resulting in more untensioned fibers to adhere to, help?
From a longevity perspective, difficult to give a definitive assessment since it will depend on the type of rope used, the quality of the joint, the RPM of the machine, the torque at start-up, the changes of speed, the material / size / shape of the pulleys, etc.
Here, this was used as a "proof-of-concept" to confirm replacing the belt would solve the projector problem. I would not have liked to buy a new part and discover it did not solve anything...
In some other machines (especially those where the belt is visible), this could be used as a permanent fix.
And yes, light sandpaper could help
I beieve the drive belt is missing on mine but don't know where it would go. I have a Sankyo Sound 600
Driving belt can disintegrate with time and only leave a few hard pieces or dust
Please speak
Sería más conveniente conseguir la banda!! Esos arreglos no suelen durar mucho
