It's so special to find a group of friends you connect with like this in college, and especially as immigrants and POC you share a bond forever. Love this for you!!
I can really recommend self-defence lesson. It increases your confidence, so you don't ask yourself any more "what do I do if it happens again?" because you are prepared if it happens again. You also get taught to scan your surroundings, which helped me a lot.
I totally agree but in these cases it’s not that “people are evil”, let’s name the common denominator; it’s not people but MEN. It’s violence against women carried out by men. I hope we live to see a day without it. Big hug to you friend ♥️
Tisha, your friendship with your college friends is beautiful! It’s so disgusting that you were assaulted in your neighborhood. It’s not your fault and you deserve to feel safe

Aww Tisha, it made me sad to see you cry! You behaved 100% correctly during that incident as you don’t know how crazy that dude could have been. This is such a great vlog! I can relate to the full-time work situation and trying to maintain work-life balance. Your trip to see your college/lifelong friends was so cool. I grew up in NYC and you are handling that assault like a boss! It's going to take time to feel better about the area. It's NOT your fault! Do not beat yourself up over it. Another way to look at it is that that creep on the city bike may not be from that area, and just passing through. I've had a situation like this as a teen and I decided to walk on different blocks to get home and at different times to give the impression that I too may not live in that area. You are awesome!
What a fun video with your friends! I'm glad you shared how you were feeling and how that unfortunate experience has affected you! I agree, it's a shame we women have to feel vulnerable like that. Just be aware while you are out. I tell my 28 year old son the same thing, he lives in Chelsea and most of his friends live in Brooklyn, so he's doing a lot of back and forth at all hours of the day and night. I have lived in Ohio, not far from Hiram, my entire life! 😊
Tisha I am so glad that I found your channel. You truly are such a lovely human. I am so sorry that you even had to go through that situation, but I am glad that you are safe.

Oh I hate that you had to experience that Tisha. Something similar happened to me when I was in college. I was taking the bus home and a guy sat next to me. I didn't think anything of it bc the bus was crowded. All the sudden I felt his hand rubbing my left thigh. I was so startled and confused, but I managed to yell "WTF are you doing!?" He was so shocked I said something he immediately ran off the still open door. I'm glad I had the courage to yell at him. But I wish I had the nerve to sock him in his face! That was very long ago ,but I can still feel his hand on my thigh when I give it thought. I wanted to take my power back so I got physically strong. I took a self defense class. But these days thats not enough. My niece got a gunn pulled on her bc she was ignoring a guy that was trying to come on to her at the gas station. So I plan on getting a concealed permit. I gotta protect my son, my baby dog and I.
What a great vlog Tisha! I loved getting to see you with your friends from college (Axela again)! These friendships will last you a lifetime! Remember to nurture the friendships and it will always stay this way even though things in each of your lives changes! ❤
Thanks for sharing your story with us Tisha. It’s infuriating that it’s so common and that so many of us can relate to events like this. As you mentioned, you could have not predicted it and your reaction to me was normal. I appreciate you for speaking about it and bringing awareness to the community for something that happens so often to females regardless of setting. It takes courage and true care from you to us to bring this awareness and share your experience.
Hi Tisha, you are funny with the trash bags. What would help in the future is buy a beauty bag just for makeup travels. You can have it empty in the Suitcase. It could be a fabric bag or a see thru plastic zippered bag. Whatever you prefer.
Oh Tisha I’m so sorry you were attacked 💔 I hope you are feeling better. Here’s to that man being behind bars or six feet under by now 🤞. Sending you warm hugs 🫂❤️🩹
23:39 Hey Tisha thanks for briefly sharing your story.. NYC could be very unpredictable at times, with incidents similar to yours. It should not stop from enjoying your life, just keep on being aware of your surroundings. Praying for safety to you.. & I enjoyed this vlog episode as always 😊🙏🏾🙏🏾
I've lost count of how many times the same thing, more or less, has happened to me. And my reaction is always the same, cursing at them and make them feel embarrashed in the crowd!!!! As you said, we just want to live our life and there is nothing wrong with that. Happy to see you with your friends and it's nice to know you had a great time with them.
I am so sorry about the incident that happened to you & niece. Sending both of you my love ❤️❤️
What a great vlog Tisha! I loved getting to see you with your friends from college (Axela again)! These friendships will last you a lifetime! Remember to nurture the friendships and it will always stay this way even though things in each of your lives changes! ❤
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️ I wish we lived close by. My other best friend Lucy (I call her my soul mate haha) she moved back to South Korea.
Great video ❤ I'm so sorry that man assaulted you, you did nothing wrong. I love watching your channel ❤
❤️❤️❤️
Wow~Your video is better and better, you are more and more beautiful too! I really like watch your video everyday!
Love the vlogs. So sorry that happened to you. Hope you can feel safe near your home and in the city.
Thank YOU, Queen! It's ABSOLUTELY not your fault. Some people are sick.
Hi Tisha, you are funny with the trash bags. What would help in the future is buy a beauty bag just for makeup travels. You can have it empty in the Suitcase. It could be a fabric bag or a see thru plastic zippered bag. Whatever you prefer.
That “bye” was so cute!🥹
So cute!!!
Oh Tisha I’m so sorry you were attacked 💔 I hope you are feeling better. Here’s to that man being behind bars or six feet under by now 🤞. Sending you warm hugs 🫂❤️🩹
Thank God, it wasn't worst and it’s not your fault. And you have wonderful friends
The little girl is so darling!!! By the way, hello from Greece!!!
I am so sorry about the incidents. It is so unfair that we have to constantly worry about this. Please stay safe. Sending you all the love ❤️🇬🇷
I am so glad you were ok, besides how you reacted, you reacted the right way, it might have been worse!
You are so right when you say to be vigilent of your surrounding, in the UK...ppl just talking on their phone...get their phone snatched by guys on Ebikes.....so yeah, BE careful Tisha!
Im so sorry to hear that happened to you! Super scary, thanks for sharing your experience. It will definitely help people in the future. Keep doing what you're doing- you inspire me and so many others!

I'm sorry to hear you were treated that way. It's been reported either this guy or someone else is doing the same in NJ. Hopefully, he or they get caught and no more abuse.
Oh my gosh! I went to Hiram! I didn’t realize you went there! The way you feel about your friends is exactly how I feel about my college friends!! I love watching your videos!!
