First time I've seen this video in over 20 years...thank you Jane Fonda!! I Need it again now! 49 tomorrow and those 3 stone have creeper back so I'm going to do this tomorrow on my birthday instead of the gym to remember how farcI came because of this video

Yes the 80’s were fun. I was in my 20’s thru them. Never did Jane’s workouts but really liked The Firm workouts. I didn’t have a Vhs back then so I watched PBS for my workouts and had a few albums! IMAGINE! I had to follow along with a booklet that came with it and listen to the directions! Good times
Now I remember why I dropped out of Arobics in the 80s, I could never keep up with all of the changes made to “keep it interesting”. Trying* to do this workout today reminded me of that. By the time I figured out how to make my arms and legs follow the movements, they switched again. I felt like a flailing failure. I would love a class that spent two or three minutes on one movement before moving on to the next.
But everyone has this. I love at myself a lot always in the beginning. No one sees me though. Give yourself a few weeks, once you did it a few times it is really fun. I only do the things that I like and leave the rest out.
I wish this video was available on DVD. It looks like a lot of fun. I don't dance or have any sense of rhythm, so I wouldn't get the steps correct right away, but I'd still like to try.

I love almost all of Janes workout although I was a kid when they were published, the first too are too heavy for me but I do all of the others, I do not do the floor work though because I do not like it. I do it for fun but I must say, you really lose weight, anyway that was not my intention in the first place. It increases my mood in a way I cannot describe, just pure positive anyway without any forcing and still effective.

...what I loved about the Jane Fonda workouts, were how AGE APPROPRIATE they were; The class looks to be early 50's (as was Jane)...but the workout is detailed, precise, and doesn't go into the 'Dancer' aspects like the earlier Workouts....VERY effective, if implemented properly...and, they look FIERCE in their exercise wear!!
Outfits were so cute back then. I used to have a shiny black body suit with black leggings & white leg warmers with an off the shoulder neon orange top. I felt like Jane Fonda & Flash dance at the same time when I was 12. Lol
Ooh boy this is at a much lower level than the Deanne Berry💃👄 60 minute + workout from 2004 but Jane is in her early 50s here but Jane.looks amazing😁👍 cause Deanne was only 22 so there's going to be a big difference in speed & Intensity forsure..Great to see this legendary old video clip😁👍

My mom would do work out with Jane almost everyday when I was a kid. She was in great shape.

I ve using it since the 1990's. I love it still. I use ankle and wrist weights to make it more challenging
