This is also the young Marine’s legacy to his unborn child. One day he will be able to search for stories, because he/she will be curious to know all that they can, and they will find this video of their father’s family grieving, remembering, and honoring a wonderful man. That child will only ever know their father through others.
What happened was beyond shameful, it was unnecessary and reckless, especially considering that we were no longer at war. The Biden/Harris administration should be ashamed of themselves. They couldn’t organize a Girl Scout Field Trip successfully let alone be in charge of a military and a country. No wonder everything is upside down.

I am not American, but can someone tell me why all the US Military at the airport were not hunkered down in bunkers when I read on mainstream news-media 12 HOURS before this attack occurred that Western Intelligence were expecting a "severe, imminent, lethal attack" in or near the Kabul airport? I remember clearly reading it on the BBC World News website and other major news websites and they had it on there continuously.

There is no realistic path to an orderly withdrawal as fantasized on both Fox and MSNBC, real life is not as simple as purported by political pundits, an "orderly" withdrawal would only mean more boots on the ground and more chances for escalation i.e. the war is not going to end ever. Biden's decision was decisive, something that neither Obama nor Trump were able to do (both caved in to pressures from the military industria complex).
