Keep the videos coming buddy, been pike and perch fishing over the past weeks. Had a few jacks out nothing special but had a nice 2lb+ perch out of the river Trent with a drop shot on a worm.
Next year mate can u try and fish lowther lake as it has some really big perch and pike and also very weedy in the summer and it's a year book and only £20 for the whole year and that's all you pay for so it's a really good place nice fish and rarely fished for pike also has really big carp but u only go for the pike so I really do recommend fishing it next year mate. Anyway love the vids keep up the good work!!! 🎣🎣🎣🎣
Hey mate take a look at Murray Cod surface lures. I reckon they would work well for pike and there big not like those little things the Americans use for bass 🤣😂👍
Hey buddy went out with some frogs the other day because it was so weedy, but not a single bite, is it not too cold for them to be near the surface now.
Great vid Dan! Just one question about casting distances as I know go pro can make the perspective look longer, but how far are you managing to cast that rat lure? Maybe my Abu Garcia promax isn’t set up correctly but I’m not managing to get the distance I think I should be. Also, what reel are you using in the vid? Jason@JNDFishing
I think I mentioned this in a previous video but please try out the heddon spook jr, it's one of the best american pike lures ever made and it has cracking great big ball bearings inside that rings like a dinnerbell and wakes up any pike it is worked over, they're nice and cheap too
Doesn’t surprise me that pike take top water lures in winter, I know they’re less energetic but still I would have assumed they’d still take a rat if they saw one and didn’t have to use much energy to get it
I had an awful couple of months earlier this year must’ve done about £100 in lures over the course of like 2-3 weeks was fuming 😂 everything from 4D perch to my suicide duck
Thanks for all these vids Dan, you make a big difference to a lot of lives doing this!
A big difference? 🤣🤣🤣

My rat is tucked up until April, interesting you caught on top water last day in November, 👍😉👍
I caught on a surface crawler 3 times in the last fortnight lol
Try the heddon spooks from the USA, they're some of the best pike lures ever made in the US.
Good job with the rat Dan

My mate caught on a whopper plopper last week just playing round with it in the canal

After multiple sessions blanking and loosing my £20 lure the other day motivation is at a all time low

@@LiamDCoughlan that sucks man just ordered 90lb braid and 110lb leaders reduce the risk lol
@@PiSt0nZ1 I sure learned quick and upgraded the braid and leader and luckily haven’t lost any since 👍🏼 tight lines bro
Must be that water...nothing on top water for a while now...good video anyway
Привет. А в какой стране ты живёшь?
Видео Мегакруто!!!
And guys will still tell you pike only feed on the bottom in winter.
Why don't you eat the pike
Here in Estonia it is one of the best eating fish
But here where I live their is a lot of them
