And another funny thing is, they claim they can "always tell" when someone is trans. And most of the time they try to misgender someone they end up using the correct pronouns. For example if someone is FTM but has already transitioned and looks like a guy, the transphobes will see "trans" in the bio and think it's the other way around say "YOU'LL NEVER BE A WOMAN". And when they realize they used the correct pronouns, they try to take it all back and switch it up and they look stupid.

They make it look like 5-year-olds are getting gender reassignment surgeries and that trans people can get hormones instantly upon request. You have to be a legal adult for a surgery and even then it can take years to get approved for one. Hormones and puberty blockers are available to those in their teens (in a few states that is) and the blockers are completely reversable, and hormones can also take a long time to get approved for.

    “…. But you’re wearing a skirt?”
“Well yeah, I look amazing in a skirt, I look pretty, don’t I look pretty?”
    “Mhm!”
“Well I really like looking pretty, and I look pretty in a skirt”
“Oh okay, can we get ice cream now?”
He’s never misgendered me, he doesn’t care, little kids don’t care, it’s a simple “I wear a skirt cause I look pretty in it, and I like looking pretty” and they get it. I wish adults would understand the same way

It just felt really backhanded, as if I wasn't trying hard enough when I had long hair. I grew up with a dad who had long hair for most of my childhood, and he did not get any comments like that when he cut his hair ..
Also, not everything I do is related to my gender, I'm mostly just a human doing human things, and I happen to be a trans man.

I have basically adopted my much younger 17 year old trans stepbrother at this point, he lives with me because our mother doesn't accept or understand him, even though she is a lesbian and married to a woman herself! You would expect her to be more understanding, but it isn't the case. I have read so many books and done so much research in order to be able to understand him better, and I don't think I ever really will know exactly what it's like 100%. I often feel guilty because I am basically all he has and I cannot understand what he is going through on a personal level, although I certainly sympathise and try my best! We are also having a hard time at the moment, because my brother came out as trans over two years ago to me, and yet we are currently struggling to find any doctors who are willing to help or refer him to a specialist about it. I'm hoping when he reaches 18 next April it will become easier! I am in the UK and I don't really know where to go for support with him at the moment, but we have binged your videos together tonight, and they have certainly put a smile on both of our faces, so thank you 😄💖

i love your humor. i'm a 63 yr old pan cis female who's partner is a non operative trans man (non operative due to epilepsy issues). We basically roll with whatever pronouns he wants to use in any given situation. i wish he would just roll with the private pronouns but he's 62 yrs old and it's been difficult on him. His behavior is always exactly the same whether he is in pants or was in a dress (luckily, we're at an age where we can wear what we wish now and no one questions it). His family would not be open to him stating he was trans (or gay) and he's living with his mother and brother right now to take care of his mother who has Alzheimer's. They also don't know we are a couple because it's just always been easier for him to deal with them that way, they just think we've been really close roommates and they include me in everything; so really, if it makes his life easier, i don't care. Funny thing is that they're pretty accepting generally of gay and trans people, but my partner has just always gotten a really bad feeling about it whenever he's come close to talking about his personal situation with them. It's hard to say, especially with his brother, whether he'd be ok or flip his lid. i think mom would be ok (yes, told me to call her mom as my mom died some 30 years ago) with it and Dad died a few years back, however, at this point in his life, my partner just doesn't want any stress about it. We used to have some push-pulls about it, as they only time i've ever been in the closet is when i was having anxiety attack and i needed to be in an enclosed space - so for me closets are physical not metaphorical things. My parents and family know and are fine with everything, but my partner still uses his birth pronouns with them because they really will honestly forget to change them around his parents. Basically, i'm flexible and haven't been caught out using his pronouns in a way that is uncomfortable for him. So really, i feel that it's a great deal about what the individual wants, not about what i want. My godson is trans and has completely transitioned, as have friends, and it has always been about whatever works for them. i don't quite understand, and i probably never will, why people have a problem with that. i think on some level, it might call into question what they think about themselves, but i could be wrong.
Anyway, keep up the good work. i have only just found your channel, and i must say that it is a pleasure. i look forward to watching many more of your videos.

The beauty of being on the normal side . Is that you know there is only man and women. It takes all the unnecessary complexities.
Which is different from saying there is a never ending see of pronouns. With each made up gender there is a made up pronouns and made up sexuality. And these pronouns are changing depending on the mood.
this is why I never like gender ideology. It's so complicated. It feels like you have to do your tax report before doing any normal conversions.

The world does not cater to your personal level of intelligence, it is your job to either educate yourself properly or mind your business when people who actually know what they're talking about are talking. I have a new take on the bathroom theory.
Maybe transgender people didn't transition so that they could spy on the opposite gender, but in fact for the entire opposite reason.
Rather than a desire to invade the bathrooms of another gender, maybe they actually just wish to escape the bathrooms of their assigned gender. Maybe transwomen have an innate fear of pee puddles and old man balls, and transmen have an intense phobia of mentstrual pads shoved down the toliet and little kids getting potty training from their mothers.
Therefore, in order to flee this horrible existence, they've decided to transition to the opposite gender and use different bathrooms so they no longer experience these fears.
Ergo, if we wish to solve the problem of transgenderism, we simply must allocate a great deal of resources towards bathroom cleaning and maintenance, so that each bathroom is a sterile paradise of completely private stalls.
Upon reaching this ultimate bathroom standard, it follows, logically, that all binary trans people will immediately detransition, casting away sachels of hormones and abandoning two year waiting lists for surgeries. They will become cis people and no more binary trans people will exist.
The only remaining issue is that of non binary people, who clearly must have an intense phobia of all bathrooms. For them, accommodations will have to be made in the form of surgeries to cease needing to use the bathroom, after which they may also feel safe enough to detransition back to the binary.
Viola. This is the REAL reason some people are trans, and also the only way to solve the problem.
Or maybe trans people are just human beings trying to live their lives. I don't man. That shit's too much for me

I'm trans masc and post social transition I admit I did once go into the ladies cos I walked into the mens and it was a literal inch of water/pee over the entire floor and I just had to nepe out of there, dysphoria be damned
The solution is obviously gender neutral bathrooms, like literally everyone already has in their own homes
In the gay village in my city all the bars have gender neutral bathrooms, with a big bathroom for stalls, and a smaller bathroom which is just urinals no stalls and explicitly labelled as gender neutral urinals too

@Den Of Wolves Gender neutral bathrooms? Heresy!
No, but for real, gender neutral bathrooms have been the standard in many European countries for years. They work there because the stalls actually give people the appropriate privacy. I have no idea why American bathrooms have such a distinct lack of privacy, or why people seem to think gender neutral bathrooms would allow for violence or rape. It's demonstrably untrue, but at the end of the day, trans people are different, so it's easier to just be afraid of us

In the state of Florida, no doctor can have a pharmacy in their office. I’ve never thought anybody was forcing their children to take puberty Blockers, I know they allow their children too. I’ve never heard or thought somebody was forcing their child. How I’m not really a Republican I am a conservative though, and I would consider myself independent because I can’t stand behind all the ideas of either party. So sad people automatically assume things based on one’s political beliefs used to people didn’t even tell it was a private thing what your political beliefs were. I think it was better that way.

4:53 My boyfriend does stuff like this. He loves to help make sure I'm comfortable in my binder and will help me get out of it, too. He's even said he's planning to take the days off for my top surgery and pre-op/post-op appointments. I'm so lucky to have him. 🥰💖🖤

A lot of guys in my friend group, especially my best friend, used to be kinda transphobic. I tried to rationalize with him that trans people really just be out here living, but he would brush me off. Until one of the guys’ partner came out as trans. And then someone in the group came out as trans a year later. After the most recent person came out, I was astonished to see everyone’s reaction. My best friend DM’d me and said “Hey, just letting you know, (deadname) is going by Maria now. She’s a girl.” And we left it at that. I’m proud of the growth that I’ve seen!!

Reminder that your gender isn’t tied to your genitals. People always say it as in ‘If you haven’t been able to get the surgery it’s okay’ which is true, but it’s so rare that I see people address that men can be okay with having vs and women can be okay with having ps, and people anywhere outside or between can also have whatever they want. Like personally (transmasc) I want top surgery but I don’t mind having female anatomy ‘down there’. The genitals you want or are just okay with having have nothing to do with your gender. Be who you are and do what you want, make as many or as little changes as you’re comfortable with, you are you. Even cis people get surgeries sometimes (most common example is women getting top surgery to be flat). Don’t feel like you’re faking it if you don’t fit the common experience, don’t feel pressured into doing the common things, be trans your way, because what else are we fighting against the gender binary for?
