Just went on a 6 day Bahamas and Domincan cruise few weeks ago, there was 34 of us from Minnesota that went together, was so much fun and definitely will be going again!!

Checking out this video my booking for Mardi Gras was changed to Magic recently. I guess Mardi Gras was being delayed until August 2021 for my old booking so I was convinced to sail on Magic on the same date. So far so good love the video!
Heading out on the Carnival Magic next month and just wanted to take a look. Probably the best ship walkthrough I've ever seen. For first time cruisers, please note that a lot of the video was shot on a port day with most of the passengers off the ship. Expect those common outside areas to be extremely crowded when the ship is sailing. On the last few of my cruises I've found myself retreating to the Serenity adult only area to escape the crowds, even though it doesn't have direct access to a pool. I always book with my Carnival cruise planner first and then check to see if I can get a lower price. I don't know if it's because I'm a Platinum VIP member with carnival or being military, but I've never found a travel agent that can beat the initial price. Thank you for a great video.

Lauderdale, going to St. Maarten, St. Kitts (my parent's birthplace), San Juan, and Grand Turk, then back to Ft. Lauderdale) Just from this video, I can tell I'm highly going to enjoy this ship.

I recently cruised on the Carnival Vista and Magic and I prefer the Magic. The Vista is way to big and it often felt crowded, the Magic has the same basic deck plan but feels so much less crowded because less people are onboard. I would strongly suggest saving the money and go on the Magic,Breeze or Sunshine.

What is the 'Cheapest' possible cruise that i could take? what cruise line? and what time of the year? etc.. It would be my 6 year old son, my Wife, and myself going on the cruise.. Hey, Dash Cam. Carnival is the way to go. I'm "financially challenged" as well. No problem. Plan WAY ahead, wait for the $99 per person deposit special. You're out $300. Wait a few weeks (or months), then start paying weekly/bi-weekly/monthly, however you get paid. Add pre-paid gratuities (so you aren't hit at the end of the cruise). Drinks? Up to you. If you drink like I do? Get the CHEERS! package. Food? PLENTY on board, you don't need to shell-out for extra. Free Pizza (6 year old) 24 hours. Recommend "Bubbles" package for pop (soda). FYI, I can't afford 2019. So I booked for 2020, on Magic. We booked in 11/2018. My girl and I are paying $50/week to Carnival (but I am going to call ua-cam.com/channels/wGxt_0afCSH_-DOdtnB2zg.html see if they can beat our price). Should be paid off by March 2019. Then $50/week toward drinks, $50/weeks toward spending, etc. We should have flight, drinks, tips, etc. paid by August 2019. Good luck, bud!
I have been going on cruises every other year with my grandparents and the first one I went on was the carnival triumph. Every other one except one other has been with royal Caribbean. Royal Caribbean is more quality and less of a party ship. Carnival is nice but it's more of a party boat
