Today I'm taking a look at the Yeezy 500 High Taupe Black! These were rumoured to release a long time ago however they got delayed multiple times be fore finally dropping on October 17th.
The Yeezy 500 High model hasn't made an appearance in 2022 up until now, which when compared to other Yeezys makes it a pretty scarce model.

The 500 high is one of my favourite silhouettes and is definitely still to this day underrated
i like the low 500s more so than the highs
I actually like this colorway
Honestly hyped as hell for this shoe. A perfect fall colorway to go with the wood and off black stuff I picked up in the most recent FoG Essentials drop.
Great job on the review ‼️ We will see if Adidas permanently vaults the 500 high silhouette. I agree that it's a very good colorway if it's the last one.

Many ppl have hated in the highs and favor the lows and as much as I like both versions the highs have a special spot for me. This colorway put the cherry on top. I was able to secure two pairs thankfully. Did yours come with a pair of replacement laces to swap out for the infinity laces?

Just got my hands on mine today and the neoprene material is definitely faded on mine as well. Not the same location as your but definitely on and visible for me too
Cheers m8, watching from Montreal, Canada, love the colour way, tried to grab the lows before but thank god I didn’t, just ordered mine this morning waiting to see hopefully they don’t come with that quality control problem, if I may add I love the shape the colour and design I only miss a bit the boost is much more comfortable than the Adiprene

Perfect pair for the fall
Was looking forward to these, thought these would be a alternate to dessert boot oil which I’m looking for, but the more I look at em I’d rather pay resell for dessert boot.

They seem to have dropped in some places in latam. I copped them from the adidas webpage from argentina
Since this specific shoe didn't drop in the EU & you love there & copped a pair.. we need to know where you picked it up incase that QC issue is because of a possible fake or cheaper sale because of defects on an official pair. Just my first thoughts when you mentioned the fading issue. Idk you personally so I can't trust you purchased that exact pair from Adidas.
Awesome review. I actually got these early too, a couple weeks back . The neoprene on my pair wasn’t faded like yours but does have a slight tinge on them. Perhaps just the early pairs have it

That fade on the material is wide spread I had 2 pairs come in today with the issue
Mine have the weird faded look on the neoprene material too. Definitely bummed about it but it’s not like I’m gonna be storing these away so it is what it is. They need to do a better job no wonder Kanye isn’t happy.

Decided to cop. I like the 500 and don’t own some highs. Got my 500 low size which I hope works since these seem to push your foot forward with the back angle of the heel

@@jdubb45 so I said .5 which amounts to really a full size. Like in Nike dunks I wear a 9 but in most Yeezys a 9.5 which is what I got these in, so I need a 10
