I would like to see a compact magazine system for attaching and storing custom torpedoes to a boat. Most systems just have the torpedoes on the outside or have an individual door for each torpedo, so being able to use one door to release more than one torpedo would be amazing
You could set the sign of the sensor output so that it can be fed directly into the gyros, and then the two sensors with positive outputs feed into the two hinges that expect positive inputs, and the two sensors with negative outputs feed into only the two hinges that expect negative inputs. You'd probably be tempted to set each hinge so that the sensor that's on it also feeds into it. But I think it would make much more sense if two opposing hinges always moved together. That would ensure that your searching circle doesn't get off-center (it'll only gradually deform into an ellipse).
while valid, there is still a reason i made it spherical. because of the rotation, all the sides experience the same things so it makes no sense to isolate the up and down sensors from the right and left sensors. by linking them all together it gets a more consist set of inputs, 4 per 360 degrees as opposed to your proposed 2 per 360 degrees. there are zero performance benefits to splitting them. if it was not rotating then there would be, but not like how i have now.
Have you made a flying wing without using gyros or verticle stabilisers, whilst using the least number of control surfaces as possible! its quite fun to figure out the challenge, and the stability issues!
Make a radar like wts build but it can send a dynamite in parabolic trajectory by calculating the distance from it or a circular radar screen which can show how far away are the objects by using hue light pannel unlike wts build which is square
Yo, I actually made a fully functioning radar system with a search radar and tracking radar (two separate ones). The search radar moves the tracking radar until it gets a lock and it will then track until it loses the lock. My next step is probably to combine them.
@ThisIsDumbAllTheNamesAreTaken EPIC vid!!! my seeker head looks pathetic now Maybe use a rc Glitch or seatless rc glitch to make a missile + a seeker head (maybe mouse and cameras too) for a killer SAM system
A recoil based ttacking missile, ive done this in 2d for a torpedo, basically 2 guns side by side and the recoil gets decoded into left and right motion from an angle sensor, its really simple really but id like to see you try, maby you will come up with womething better
preaching to the choir. this channel started on that stuff. Sadly that stuff has trouble at high speed and has issues. at high speed drag and other random insatabilites make it basically impossible.
it surprisingly not needed. one of the biggest benefits of having the sensors expand with the target size relative to the missile POV is that it can retain good track right up until impact.
Cool missile, I'm definetly try making one simmilar. I've been designing misslies the last days and been using rotors to spinn/rifle them. Mine are not homing but due to the spinning prox detection works pretty well. Look up for example Deraptorizer, on the workshop, for a AA tmissile truck using that system. Think you might find it inspiring.
Use two servos, one spins slow so you cover “more” area and the other is at 0 strength so it allows your other servo to spin You could also use two helicopter engines, spin one clockwise and the other counterclockwise to cancel torque
that only works if the position of those sensors is also rotated out of sync to get more coverage. but that requires me to double the amount of hinges. and 1.5 times the drag. yeah its a solution but the amount of bulk the missile would have to get from extra thrusters and so on would make it impractical to be air carried on a fighter jet which was against what i was aiming for.

@@christojojo4433 i never thought of splitting the usage of 1 pair of sensors but i dont know how useful it will be. if it does not have a lock its better for all the sensors to be searching. if it found something then its better if all the sensors try to keep the lock. splitting up the sensors is only really useful for multi tasking but missiles tend to only have 1 very specific and precise goal so im not sure how effective it would be. also RC is not worth the computation power. its simply not worth the complexity and it will still have some nasty delays.
@ThisIsDumbAllTheNamesAreTaken well, what's more important to build arround? the missile being slightly more sluggish, or the missile not being a missile?
@@borshez i was assuming it possible by using the rc glitch where your bomb/tv guided missile has its own separate seat allowing it to be controlled independently of the host aircraft
rly cool dude video idea: try to make the most realistic car you can make, yk like a 5 speed manual with a fuel system and realistic suspesion and MABYE a piston engine
Is this uploaded to the console workshop? I tried to find it but I couldn’t. If not, could you maybe make a quick tutorial on how to build it? I tried to reverse engineer it and it went very poorly lol
why are the fins so big bro 💀 alright here's a fire video idea: you go over all the new uses for the new logic blocks and the changing lights. the video is 4 seconds long, and contains nothing. no need to thank me.
I really wish the devs would just make our lives so much easier and let anchoring to the top a gun work.

To think that if distance sensor range was good 90% of FCS and missile build’s would work
Real
real
Honestly really impressive
thx

yeah i got one with only 2, the wing tip controls worked for both roll and pitch

while i DO have all the math for ballistic calculators, the range on sensors is too limited to make an interesting radar.
IF YOU HAVE A GOOD VIDEO IDEA PLEASE TELL ME. IM DESPRATE
