I'm watching the video and as Swifty is talking about this kid's accomplishments I'm looking at his measurables thinking he's undersized with average speed and in all likelihood has next to zero chance of making the team. Then I'm thinking why is Swifty building the kid up, he surely knows this. Then the before/after pics of the kid pop up on the vid and I'm like that's a major transformation. That kind of transformation takes a lot of work and dedication. Then I had to think again about what the young man did with his time in Arizona. Just wow. I really have to watch those snap judgments. He's a hometown kid and it seems like he has a great work ethic. I think even if the Bears keep him, he's still another year to year and a half of seeing 3-down play as a DT, perhaps a bit more on pass rushing packages if he's talented at getting after the QB. Wish him the absolute best.
