We've got a handful of them built, they take quite a bit longer to make than the tentacle guys in this video, seeing as their guns are made from lots of tiny parts from multiple kits. You'll get to see the Noise Marine conversion soon.
Well I can assure you that this tutorial was absolutely great because it made me win my first painting competition. Tbh it wasn't one with all that many competitors but I'm still really proud
It was a single Chaos Space Marine, everyone got the same model and could paint it however you want it. I remembered your tutorial and chose to go with it. Definitely worth it
02:15 I love that there are 2 boxes: "Noise Marines" and "UA-cam Noise Marine" Realistically, the UA-cam box is just for the army leader or some other mini that will be used in a tutorial, but in my head this basically translated to "PG13 Noise Marines" and "Noise Marines that will get my channel banned". Example: Bad Dragon sells tiny dildos, I knew someone who used these dildos as bits for his Slaanesh army ...
Did he ever take his army of dildo armed slaaneshi fanatics to a games workshop, and if he did, how did the staff react? The tiny youtube noise marine box contained all the project parts for one noise marine, but seeing as I expanded to working on a whole squad, I needed a bigger box. So that's how we ended up with two boxes labelled 'noise marines'. All my stuff is pretty much PG-13, but I still have really shameful stuff, like all the wreckage from failed experiments/conversions. Plus, that few handfuls of models that I bought second hand only to find crucial details like faces etc were half way melted with glue, stuff that you just can't fix, and can't really sell. Sorry to crush your dreams with the sheer mundanity of it all!
I came up with a way of converting palatine blade type-guys, from like really common parts. Definitely gotta convert 12 of them, then do a painting guide in the following video, might do this when the new Chaos Codex is out. Want to do Emperors Children colour scheme on these. Doing a few of these larger projects at the moment, but we've been having a hard time getting anything finished as of late! Trying to break out of the rut with some shorter content.
Tyranid bits are pretty versatile when it comes to making Chaos stuff. One of my first ever conversions was a Nurgle dreadnought that was 90% spare carnifex bits and 10% Tau Crisis battllesuit, for the power plant. Shame that I don't still have it!
That's the plan! We've got a few videos lined up to expand upon the flawless host/tainted host. I'm also working on a Necron force and The Hawk Lords (purple Ultramarines). I'm sure they'll show up in one of our videos soon.
Funny you should mention Tzeench, they're the one Chaos side I've not really converted or painted as of yet. If you're thinking of adding wings then Drukhari Scourge wings might be the way to go as you get a load of them per box.
The Mutilator and Noise Marine conversions both utilize a bit of green stuff, and they're both half way filmed, so expect to see some similar content released at the start of November!

I did a challenge back in 2016 where I painted one Noise Marine every day, I had over 24 of them primed as well as another 24 possessed and regular CSM's. I would paint the date under the base to prove I'd achieved my goal, I think I managed a two week streak initially before I broke it, but I managed to get the whole lot of them painted in like two months, and I had the dates right there to prove it. I regret selling them now, even if they weren't that well painted! I think that's where I picked up the habit of dating the bases.

As much as I would like to tell you how I put together this scheme, doing that might very well spoil the painting guide we've recorded on this scheme! We'll be posting that video in a couple of weeks.

I really like genestealer and other teranid bits for some nice options for chaos conversions.
