There's no way they didn't know about this or weren't complicit. I really don't think anyone should buy the PSA explanation. I think this whole thing makes them look terrible. I have an extremely hard time with their explanation that they didn't have control of what was going on with these machines.

You both forget to mention Jesse Craig is the person that provide Rovell documentation on the $950k star card. Jessie is a known scammer and NO ONE is call Rovell to explain he is being played.
I’m glad yall are covering this! I think it’s a situation where PSA thought it was a good idea, mystery machine lol, mystery boxes at the National as a “fun” thing and now realize it’s not a good look from a major company and now they’re trying to play it off

Gambling, repack transparency (odds, checklist,...), questionable partnerships (branding and submission),.... lots of discussion options.

These scammers just find a squeaky clean front man and keep scamming. How many of these repacks in the market now have trimmed and altered cards? Most BGS slabs are questionable at best. It’s all fraud
Ive never seen this type of machine & i wouldn't even attempt to buy something from a machine like this.......
Ive never even bought a pack a cards out of any vending machine.
Always purchased out of the boxes in a store when i was a kid.
I'm over grading companies, can't trust the legitimacy anymore.
Remember when Pokémon was for kids. Cards just keeps moving in such a wonderful direction, 10 years from now you won't recognize it. Lmao . So I guess next there will be a beckett machine next to that one

That is 100% false. People who buy sports see $$$ in Pokemon and ventured over there. I know at least fifty people who did not collect as a child. One of my closest friends went to thr National last year with $16,000 and collects and has only collected football cards and was looking for a PSA8 Jim Brown. He came home with a PSA5 Charzard (sp?) and that's the only Pokemon card he has ever owned.

how do you allow anyone to use your logo for something you're saying you are not a part of, plus PSA is trying to control everything as you see them with game stop, perhaps Walmart who join in the card game. plus, those guys shouldn't be allowed in the industry anymore since they have been part of stuff like fraud which should be a federal offend with the dollar amount.
I remember I got an email about the vending machine a few weeks ago or whatever from PSA and thought it was their own the way it was emailed out.

pretty new to collecting. did when young but moved away and have come back now older. In one year have meet some great people and been turned off as much as turn on about the hobby. Seeing certain breakers get loaded boxes (advertising for these card companies) is prob a reason many end up leaving. Never seen any breaker hit as many soccer cards in a short space of time than castro. He brings on man u content creator just to pull a big cr7 auto. Kinda obvious at this time and a big shame on the card companies. They obviously targeting young fifa players who spend more to convert into buyers. Real good when loyal customers getting screwed in the meantime.

Got told a story other day about re-packs being sold and they were advertising one of the big hits still was not hit when only x amount left. Kinda hard coming back in and trusting when you hear stuff like this. 1s thought, how do you know that card was not pulled yet. Did they get very person to open up in front of them? Seems weird to me and was kinda the nail in the coffin for modern cards for me. Card company models, breakers and re packers are destroying something meant to be simple and enjoyable. Will focus mainly on retro.
I feel you but just remember what the hobby is all about. Collecting cards and having fun with mates. Ignore the modern bs

What's next? A bank of PSA slot machines? Imagine instead of characters the reels depict actual graded cards. If you line up all up the Fleer Jordan's in PSA10 you get a ticket and walk over to the counter and pick up your Jordan PSA10 slab. The minimum spin is for $50. I think the industry is going to go full tilt into the gambling space. That's what drives the hobby now anyway and that's the best way to make it grow. Drop the veil, admit it's pure gambling/speculation, and get on with the business of addicting people.

I appreciate your comment but Every video is positive mate. Talking about things that others don’t in order to help fellow collectors is positive. Irrespective, my fishing video is positive no? Countless others in last few months too.
There has to be something positive to report, lately there hasn’t been anything positive to report in this hobby…
