  • In this video I'll show you how to seal around your bath using Geocel Sanitary Seal Clear Silicone.
This silicone sealant is for sealing around baths, showers, sinks, basins, toilets, and tiles areas. And it contains a fungicide to resist mould growth.
Ensuring the work surface is dry, and free from dirt and grease is really important, so take your time to remove every trace of old silicone for a professional finish.

Are you not meant to fill bath with water when sealing in case of movement.

It is recommended, yes, but this bath is only used occasionally as a shower and has been established for a few years now.

When cleaning the old silicone off will methylated spirits work. Any reason why you started on the longest wall.

You just need to check it doesn't affect the finish of the bath, I've always used white spirit. No reason why I did the long wall first at all, it won't make any difference.

I use methylated spirit as it doesn't leave a greasy surface like white spirit.
