Lol my friend from Australia just pulled around 250 Cts of zircon . Sapphire is his game , but zircon and spinel and others pop out regularly. He lives in Rubyvale. Damn girl , you look amazing and you are super smart. Whoever you pick is one lucky sob.
i just spent 10 days digging up sapphire and zircon here in queensland Aqustralia, and found a 31 ct clear with a little pink in it zircon (uncut). thank you for the history, i thought they were spat out of the volcanos like sapphire...
Whao, I never knew that the zircon gemstones have been around for a long time.😯💎🌏☄ It's very fascinating🤔 how they're form and to cut them so they can see the rings inside.👩🔬💎🔬 Thanks for sharing this to us and nice video.🙂👍
Nice video, very interesting. Have you heard the hypothesis about why there are microoragnisms that can withstand the harshness of space and nuclear conditions here on Earth? That a meteor may have traveled from Mars carrying microbial life, and that maybe life here is a product of said event? Could life here be based on Marsological life?
It must be Cosmic balance that's a material that is so radioactive, Finds Its stability when it turns into lead, a material that is known for absorbing lots of radiation.
This was very interesting and informative! I had no idea Zircon was that old. It is one of my favorite gemstones, in any color, when faceted correctly, it looks like a perfect diamond. Thank you! 💙 Mexican Cherry Opals are beautiful, too. ❤
It is possible to have clear cubic zirconia that look like diamonds for colour, clarity, and quality of cut and polishing. They can take on characteristics so close to diamonds it is very difficult to visually tell the difference without doing specific gravity and harness tests. The surface heat transfer rate of cubic zirconia is very close to diamonds for the look and feel. Diamond hardness is rated at 9 to 10 Mohs. Cubic zirconia hardness can be 7.5 to 8.5 Mohs. Zircon thermal conductivity is 22.7 W/(m-K). Diamond is 2200 W/(m-K). Melting point of diamond is 3550 deg Celsius. Melting point of cubic zirconia is 2750 deg Celsius. Visually the two stones of the same colour and size when properly cut and polished are so close it is impossible to see the difference. Diamonds for jewellery are more expensive because of marketing. The work involved for cutting and polishing is about the same.
Cubic Zirconia is a lab grown gemstone and is designed to mimic the optical properties of diamond. Zircon is a natural forming crystal with a totally different chemical structure. Clear white zircon is also a good diamond imitator when faceted and polished.
December is my month love the history ❤
amazing ... i also love rebeccas enthusiastic passion in presenting such facts...thank u much love

I was out at Rubyvale 3 years ago. Got a heap of Sapphires, Spinels and Zircon as well. Love to go back.
Rebecca, you‘re almost dancing during explaining zircon. But I like it
Wow absolutely mindboggling how they can have this information from a mineral so old. Great informative video, thanks Rebecca! You're a natural :)
i love this host, and the way she say older is soo cute

I have a white zircon ring I had made in 1995. It's a goodly size and water-clear. The dispersion is phenomenal!✌️
Wow! Thank you for making this video. I learned a lot

I purchased one years ago. Confusing it with zincite ever since but no, it’s the 4 billion year old crystal zircon 💪🏽😅
Could we get more episodes on exotic gems cause I feel like there's a lot of similar episodes with similar info
Stay tuned. We definitely have some unusual and obscure gems coming soon!
We have many zircon is Senegal 🇸🇳 (west africa) some are exploited in Jogo.

Interesting…but this video is about zircon, which is an entirely different stone

When will JTV do an unboxing of phosphophyllite? I wanted to comment that on the video about fragile gem stones but I forgot. Phosphophyllite!!!!!!
Trust me, it is on our list! Specimens are hard to come by, and we don’t want to do it until we have something cool to show you.
Carnaúba é
Love
Can u unbox pyrite
Zircon 🧐

I won't waste my time on looking zircons when I know I can totally crush on black opals 🤩.
Anyway good vedio.
So, the bigger the zircon crystal, the older it is? Or not necessarily?
Grandedierite??????..... haha
Anyway well presented.

You are gem buyer?
Your very cute
I'd be doomed if my HOA made me count the grass in my yard. I can't even get the trash can in on time!
Get your friends to trash the neighborhood , to lower property values until they no longer care about grass blade counts.
