NEW YEAR'S NISEKO - DEEP POWDER IN HIRAFU!

The crowds are back in Niseko. This year, the peak gates remained closed until January 6th. But it didn't matter. We were still able to ride deep untouched powder without even going to Miharashi. This video shows you where we went - Super, Super Ridge, Ohiroma, Furiko and Onsenzawa. Be in line for the Center 4 lift when it opens. Tip - on deep days when the peak gates are open, do one run down Super or Furiko & Onsenzawa before heading up to the gates. Most people head straight up to the gates leaving so much untouched powder on the courses.

NISEKO - and make sure you stay in HIRAFU. From there, it's 45min to Rusutsu and one hour to Kiroro.

Hi, Ohiroma or 大広間 in this context means Big Open Space, which as you know, is what Ohiroma is.

Were those powder fields all off 1 run? Which lifts in grand hirafu ?

Several runs. They can be accessed from Ace 2/Center 4 lift. For 2023/24 season, there is going to be a new gondola there.

@@nisekopowdersecrets8447 I wasn't aware of the gondola? It's not going to be built by the time I'm back is it? Or will they be constructing it? If it's getting built there how will night skiing operate? Thanks
