- The Niseko Rules aren’t just a set of rules. Based on respect for riders’ freedom to seek fresh powder in the backcountry and respect for the inherent risks in nature, the Niseko Rules form one of the cornerstones of a system that enables visitors to experience the best of what Niseko has to offer.
In this video, we explain the holy trinity of the Niseko Rules, the Gates Map, and the daily Avalanche Report. Together, they have propelled Niseko to its status as the world's top powder destination. Use them as your resource for unlocking the secrets of Niseko and maximizing your experience in the powder capital of the world. #niseko #japow #hokkaido #ニセコ #hokkaido

Thanks for your videos! My Niseko trip this season was incredible. I could ski safely in this powder paradise becuse of them!
well done. thanks for spreading the word to the people who visit us here in Niseko.
Was just there last week. Thank you so much for all your videos.
For anyone reading, Mikaeri Bowl and Higashione get tracked out way slower than their Back Bowl and East Face neighbors that require less traversing to drop in.
Thanks from Australia for the great videos
I’m there right now! Great video again.
The avalanche report is currently suspended 😢
You videos are amazing thank you! I would love to send you a tip! You you have a option ?
Thank you for liking my videos! Continue watching!
this is why I prefer to ski in Europe over the USA and japan , you have true freedom, you make your decision and live or die with the consequences that's the way it should be. Your give information and then make your decisions, not these rules let people make their mistakes. and people should make sure to their abilities
The problem with that is that the ' live or die with the consequences' is not simply just you and yourself alone. By choosing to ignore avalanche warnings and going into the Backcountry against local and expert advice means that emergency crews end up also risking their lives saving your ass as well as taxpayers who are funding those rescues which are in the tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars. This kind of selfish 'it's my choice mentality' doesn't work when the reality is it's not just you, it's you and everyone else you are affecting through your choice. It's called respect. Respecting your choice as long as you also respect the mountain and the laws put in place in that country.
There have been backcountry deaths every year in Niseko recently. The quality of the riders and skiers going out there has gotten worse too.
niseko is shit, over priced, overcrowded. and youre wrong, its not the powder capital of the world.
On the wrong day, in Hirafu, all can be true. But on the epic days....... if you're prepped .......
@@spdaltid Talking about wrong day (for the past week, actually), it does suck a lot
Last year a Russian man was dug up suspected to have perished in an avalanche outside out of the gates in Annupuri /niseko village in Yu no Sawa. Be careful
It's too flat. You can talk deep all day but without steep? Its just flat. Sorry
