Sick ride! This was a pretty high speed group ride dodging the NYC traffic! Sal's bike looks like a beast! The view of the East River was gorgeous! Looking forward to the next part!
The X-Class in general has decent suspension but over time you might want to switch to some softer rear shocks. As far as tires go, I recommend adding some tire sealant like Flat Out to prevent flats especially here in the city.
I originally was going to get the 3000 watt but decided on the 5000watt E Bike kit instead of the QS kit. How much power does your bike have. I see that it has no problem keeping up. I'm not sure how long before I get the molicell but I need to ride soon after I get the kit. Do you know what battery that I could use with the 5000W 100A E-Street Motor Kit for now?
With the Molicel battery I'm hitting 58 even 60 mph more consistently on speed runs. The Sabvoton controller really is a beast. Sal has some good NB Power batteries like the 30ah triangle but yea the molicel is honestly the best way to go if you can wait for it. Real game changer with the better discharge rate.
@@JB360_NYC Do you have the 3T or the 4T? Basically. If you had to do it all over again, would you get the 3000w or the 5000w. I would like to understand your experience in torque etc. Thank you.
@@martymart3476 I have the 3T which has the better torque and acceleration than the 4T which has the better overall top end speed. If I would do it over again I would still get the 3000w as the power kick is just insane off the line. I haven't fully tried the 5kw yet but there is definitely a big power increase in terms of torque and overall top speed. Sal who has the 5kw on his X-Class was able to reach a top speed of about 70mph. I'll be putting this to the test in a future video first impressions review.
@@JB360_NYC I have the ariel rider x class 52v & they haven't been helping to keep my bike running at all - even under warranty. So I figured November I'd have this all hooked up. I am going to get Sal's 5000w kit by September instead of the QS which he said is more of a project to install. He has the - 29Ah Triangle Molicel Electric Cannon 72V 300A BMS Battery. No Case. Or - 25Ah X-Class Full Frame Molicel 72V 300A BMS Battery. Do you think that the "Ah" is much of a difference?
@@martymart3476 oh yea every ah matters especially when running low on battery...that extra 2 or 3ah hours can get you an extra 5-10 miles depending on how you ride it.

Dope content... 👌 it was a fun ride
JB your bike flys your bike has definitely got the right stuff for these kind of group rides 😀
riding with them are always an adventure
Sal wearing a helmet ⛑️ 👍
that uni guy looked like he was something out of this world
I really want that updated display. That was surprisingly not added to the XSeries step thru. Still a great bike though.
They have the 500c display from Bafang on Amazon that works with the stock bike.
I want your lights and display man😩😩😩
Yea light kit came standard with the display. It's a great light kit when you decide to upgrade bro
Does the bike need any upgrades for nyc to ride smoothly over bumps? Are the tires good stock? How about the suspension?
