For the sleeping bee, I think you should start on the mottled fabric but start with the yellow and white that you love so much. If it pops enough for you, then keep going.

I am really excited to see a video devoted just to a Mirabilia. I have one called “needle ???.” She’s been kitted up forever but I’ve been putting it off. It’s intimidating even though I bought one that looked relatively easier with less confetti. Beading and metallic thread. Ugh! What was I thinking?!
It's all in your head! Metallic thread is painful to stitch with but not too difficult (just annoying) and beading may actually surprise you! I LOVE BEADING!

Beware! There is a TON of kreinik stitching in him... like more than I have ever stitched but if you're good with that, then have at him!!
Congratulations! I can't believe I've been watching you for a year - 2020 has done some very weird things to time... Those ears made my day! We were supposed to go to Disney in January for my 50th - but Australia isn't really letting us out for vacations right now. So I guess we'll wait for 2021.... *sigh*

Go with the called for color on the bee stitch. Try a few white striches grouped together on the light part of the Fawn. If you can't see it, go with called for.

Great video, camera quality is great! Loved seeing your WIPs and haul ;) I have a set of the CXC floss and totally agree with your assessment. I like the good coverage with it, and I tested it and it seems to be colorfast! Nice to have that extra set as a backup for my DMC collection.

I miss dressing up at work! I used to work with children/adults and I would take advantage of ANY opportunity to dress up. (Yes, I was pretty much the only one and everyone would just deal with my personality) but I felt it brought some happiness to those who were suffering from illness for that brief treatment!

I'm one of those mirabilia nub just recently Instagram you and so appreciate your immediate response even though we live in different timezone. Can't wait for your video on first time stitching mirabilia. I'm also doing the 100 owl and just started but I also feel the same way with the colors, but because of covid I don't want to go to the store and try to figure out the colors since alot of stores in our area have plastic barriers wrap around the counters.

It was noted on a Mirabilia FB page and I haven't been able to find it in any shops (not saying it's official, just relaying my knowledge). Not sure how soon they update it on the Mirabilia website either? But if you find one at a normal price, SNAG it! Just in case 💖
I love how your Owl SAL is coming along, it's beautiful! I'm doing Owl Forest Embroidery's Swan Lake sampler and their variegated threads are sooooo pretty. I think I might grab their threads for the SAL, too. I haven't ever tried a Mirabilia. I wonder if any of them would look good with brown skin? Something for me to check out. Thanks for your video! It was fun going through your wips!
I definitely think that there are some Mirabilia patterns that would actually look BETTER with brown skin! I plan to stitch Princess Elliana with brown skin FOR SURE! I honestly feel they missed the mark in making her white with her colorful attire. But this plan won't be executed for a long time at this rate 😂

Your peppermint ears!!....Have you tried a light light teabag dye on a spare white for the fabric for the bee (that way you have a kick of color).
I haven't! But I know a super cool chick that is dabbling in dyeing that I know virtually who could possibly come in with the assist 😉
It’s definitely the ears! Your happy mood is contagious! I’m super curious what they can do about your mermaid and her beads. Will you have to pay to reframe or can they just adjust it? Sucks that it’s not perfect and you’re forced to see the flaws in something you worked so hard on.
I will find out on Monday so I will definitely fill you all in! There may be an added spacer to the frame but not sure about if I will have to pay or not.. it's unfortunate but not the end of the world! I still love her with all my heart!

Hi! You can probably find her on 123stitch.com, Etsy, or eBay for retail price. I don’t believe she has been discontinued at this time 🧜♀️
Can you not make a USPS Package Pickup request online? Everytime I need to ship out a package with USPS I just buy the postage/shipping label online and print it out, tape it to my box, and then schedule a free USPS pickup. You don't even have to open the door for them, they'll just come get it when they deliver your mail.

@@CocohamasStitchery If your packages fit in the mailbox, just put them in there & put the flat up... there's several ways you can buy & print shipping labels: one is on the USPS website.. you can also do it on PayPal... paypal.com/shipnow will give you a form to fill out for the name & address, then when that's finished, you'll be able to choose which shipping method you want to use...priority mail/first class/media, etc... oh, and you'll need to know the weight of your package.. and if priority mail, the dimensions.
I hope this isn't too confusing, LOL...I'd be happy to do a step by step blog page if you like...
