Hola Patry, tengo una pregunta sobre media naranja. Which one is correct "para encontrar mi media naranja" or "para encontrar a mi media naranja? Muchas gracias. Siento que tu canal es muy muy similar a English with Lucy
This was great. Thank you. I've never heard ANY of these expressions,....with the exception of the first.....which my grandmother said daily when she was the slightest peeved. And she didn't limit her displeasure to the milk...There were a MIRIAD of things that were the objects of the preposition "en" after the cagarme." My new favorite is "Me cago en la madre que te parió:.....which I heard in a movie recently.
When your brain is in Spanish mode, what does it think when it sees 'Me voy'? Does it incorporate an entire feeling kind of like how 'I'm' feels in English, or do you think 'Me, I go'? or Just 'I go'?
Yes, in Spanish you don't usually need to use personal pronoun because the verbs already come conjugated, so when you say "Me voy" it's the same as "Yo me voy".
This makes me consider how odd and hilarious some American idioms are: Bat shit crazy Take a flying leap I can't even right now You're pulling my leg You're killing me! I'm dead! Shut the front door! Break a leg! That's a piece of cake You're beating a dead horse I don't give a rat's ass Ew! You cut the cheese! It's raining cats and dogs You're so full of it She's a brick house He's a dreamboat Cute as a button Completely clueless Over the top Bring home the bacon Grasping at straws Apple of my eye Going bananas That's the cat's meow (or bee's knees) Eyes on the prize Pie in the sky Fresh meat Tall drink of water ... how crazy we must sound to outsiders!
You’re very welcome! I have done a few shorts on restaurant/vocabulary hotel but I’m working on a longer video. You should see it in the next couple of weeks 😅👍🏻
That's not the question 😅. In XVII there was in Catalonia, Spain, a famous bandit called Perot, that comes from Pere (Pedro). In Catalonia Pere sounds like Pera. And that's why 😊, something as ancient as the years Pera lived on.
Hilarious lesson! You always make it nice and fun! Enjoyed it por supuesto! Gracias profesora!
Gracias a ti! So glad you’re enjoying the videos! 😃👍🏻

A mí me gusta "me voy a poner ciego"
Se me olvido? Isn’t that the third person - he/she has forgot? I’m confused. Wouldn’t it be - me olvide llamar a mi madre
why or how are pears old?

Es montar un poyo (poyete) no montar un pollo. El lleísmo te ha traicionado.
Your voice…OMG! Do you talk like that all the time?
That's disgusting 🤮
