Although they were a year apart there's also a short called Santa's workshop which they do have on Disney Plus although they did add it out some stuff which they consider racist but honestly isn't that bad. There is a portion they cut out that's a mammy depiction which is kind of bad but the other one was supposed to be an old Jewish man and it wasn't that bad or stereotypical so I don't know why they cut it
Don't count out The Lion King. I am not ashamed to admit the fact that I cried like a baby when I saw that movie. One of the absolute best movies ever made.
Great nostalgic memories are the lifeblood of our youth. Just like the scares on our bodies. Certain moments are burned into minds forever. That proves to us they were real. They actually did happen and we are grateful for such wonderful experiences.
I remember when they used to have the Silly Symphonies, Fleischer cartoons and Warner Bros. old cartoons on TV all the time back in the 80s and 90s! I loved them then and I adore them now!
Yep and on the regular cartoons like Pink Panther, Tom and Jerry.....you have a hard time finding them; even the movies no longer play a toon before the movie...shame on them.
Wow! It's September of 2023 and I've just watched this for the first time. This is a wonderful short Christmas film for all ages. I am not sure, is it me, because of my age ,that I love these old cartoons ? If only I have kept all the wonderful toys we got for CHRISTMAS. A real working tin sowing machine, a stove , were one puts a tiny grill lighter ( the size of a sugar cube) inside a plate , you light it and start cooking. My parents trusted me, that I used the fire carefully. Wonderful memories, toys you never would see today. This was my childhood. !!!
It’s a good thing that VHS and CD rom only exist characters for children with children’s books, shows and movies except people for older ones/kids/people within older kid shows like WFAA news, rescue 9-1-1, the weather channel, TLC, how it’s made, Fox News & others

I remember watching this in the 90's when I was a kid. I forgot all about it until I randomly came across this video looking up tiny toons Christmas specials.
This cartoon really gives the feeling of Christmas and I know it's the sequel to "Santa's Workshop(1932)." Beautifully animated. Very detailed and not with all the simple computer animation they do today. Animation like this is truly a work of art. A shame they don't make cartoons like this anymore.
I know right the cartoons they make today nowadays is well... in my opinion stupid and has got no ryme or reason for it to even be called a cartoon like take the world of gumball for example good grief sure it I guess is a nice thing to watch if theres nothing else on tv to watch but really have any of you even noticed on how many times the cartoon characters have broke the fourth wall?. Heck even Chowder did that too like good grief even teen titans did that too its kinda creepy that cartoons on tv are aware of you watching them on screen.

I'm sure your parents thought you were funny for being obsessed with this cartoon. Not passing judgment at all. I also loved so many animated cartoons shows. When they would go off the air. I was deeply disappointed as kid. Fortunately, so many of those shows have gotten a second life online.
The song is fun and within the classic Christmas spirit but what makes this performance so magnetic is how much fun is everyone having playing it. The director was excellent capturing all the musicians, the charismatic choir trio and of course, the phenomenal Kelly and Ariana collaboration. This is a completely gorgeous, fun and incredible performance where all the parts work perfectly. This should be a viral song/video. Merry Christmas everyone!
I remember when I was a kid I used to watch these cartoon. They do not make the cartoons like these detailed and very much hand crafted. It reminds me of my childhood.
*90 years old now! (2023)* And this is still *so much* more endearing, entertaining and charming than most cartoons put out in the last 25-30 years. As morbid as it sounds, *sadly* probably all the writers, animators and staff are long dead. 😢

Growing up in a Welsh home, Santa always had the tree in his bag, I would wake up and the tree would be lit and covered in glass balls and tinsel. Magical...so many memories...
Disney used to make WONDERFUL cartoons that were filled with warmth and charm, and incredible creative details that are very impressive considering that computer animation wasn't a thing in that era, and everything had to be done by hand. Now it seems like there are very few films they make that aren't sequels, prequels, live-action remakes, or spin-offs of existing films, and the few original films that they HAVE managed to come up with are pretty lackluster. It's kind of sad to see what Disney has become in recent years!

I'm a Dad and I watch this cartoon every year at Christmas with my daughter, Eve. We love these cartoons so much. We watch Santa's Workshop as well.

I remember when I was a kid I used to watch these cartoon. They do not make the cartoons like these detailed and very much hand crafted. It reminds me of my childhood.
I loved the last opened gift for junior..was the best and so beautiful Scottish terrier puppy...so innocent... It made my tears come out

*90 years old now! (2023)* And this is still *so much* more endearing, entertaining and charming than most cartoons put out in the last 25-30 years. As morbid as it sounds, *sadly* probably all the writers, animators and staff are long dead. 😢

When I was little they always showed the older and classics cartoons like on tv early Christmas morning and it was so cool and so Christmasy to have those on after seeing what Santa brought. I miss being young and classic Christmas traditions

Growing up in a Welsh home, Santa always had the tree in his bag, I would wake up and the tree would be lit and covered in glass balls and tinsel. Magical...so many memories...
Disney used to make WONDERFUL cartoons that were filled with warmth and charm, and incredible creative details that are very impressive considering that computer animation wasn't a thing in that era, and everything had to be done by hand. Now it seems like there are very few films they make that aren't sequels, prequels, live-action remakes, or spin-offs of existing films, and the few original films that they HAVE managed to come up with are pretty lackluster. It's kind of sad to see what Disney has become in recent years!

I always giggle to myself when seeing the stockings at the chimney, and then seeing a cloth diaper also hung up by the chimney.
