CS23: Careers in Research

This overview session will discuss research careers in academics, both faculty and non-faculty positions, industry and government. What options are there are, descriptions of types of institutions in the United States, how to be a competitive candidate, and resources to prepare for these careers.
We will highlight how to navigate the rest of the day and the speakers in each career path.
