jacob is so real for the nightmare before christmas
How does a movie choice make someone “real” or less real?
@@lb2696they just mean like relatable xx
Why am I not surprised that the Joker likes Batman movies?
huh?
@@pigeon9710Barry keoghan plays joker in Batman 2022 so I think that's what they're referring to.
@@knxat h e upcoming
@@Jackielikeskillersmiles I haven't seen Batman BC it's like 3 hours long but I saw a clip of barry as joker so, I assumed that he played joker in 2022 Batman.
@@knxait was the post credits scene to tease the upcoming sequel
Did Emerald really say Cruel Intentions? I love her!!
Yes she did it was in the video.
so cool that sophie was there!!!
The Innocents is such a good pick. I adore that film.
Love all their picks and they all seem so chill 😬
Jacobs 4 films 😅 literally couldn't all be more different for one another if he tried... like if you saw those 4 movies on a list and said what do these films all have in common the only answer would be "they're Jacob Eloris 4 favorite films"
Iconic scores.
Who else thinks it's Ironic how Jacob likes DK and Barry likes the entire trilogy 😂
Pretty ironic 😂
Man Emerald has a good taste , you can see where her style of movies have influenced her in her own work.
U can see the inspiration she takes from the shining in this movie
"Cruel Intentions?!"
This is why I cannot completely deny auteur theory. There is 100% a difference between the artistic tastes of directors and artistic tastes of the actors they direct.
cruel intention is amazing
fair point, but a lot of the time its not just the director that makes the creative decisions- auteur theory tends to take away the credit from everybody else that played a key role in the creative process. It's not just between director and actor
@@lucyscorner1894its only director and actor
@@lucyscorner1894 You're absolutely correct in that everyone's labor matters in the creation of something. But I think that's a bit different from what auteur theory states, which is simply that the initial creator of the artistic idea is the author of the piece and should therefore be given final creative authority. I don't think that position alone negates or erases the hard work that goes into making that vision come to like on the logistical level.
I think as long as we suffer under capitalism (and other unjustifiable hierarchies like it), there will always be a tendency to equate or even conflate something like auteur theory with entrepreneur worship. But at least for my part, that is absolutely not a conflation I am making, here.
Give directors and writers the credit they deserve as artists, yes. But don't underpay and overwork everyone else involved in the production because of that.
@@Progger11"suffer under capitalism" lmao, we're living in the best times in human history, you commie muppet
Barry Keoghan based lmao
I have watched saltburn so many times, and it is probably one of my favorite movies of all time
Cool hand luke. Great flick with Paul Newman
Underrated af
Those 4 movies are all aspects of salt burn I loved it
jacob saying kramer vs kramer is so me TASTE
Just wish he had said versus not verse. I'm old.
now I understand Emerald Fennell visions of her films.. I love Emerald Fennell's Promising Young Woman & Saltburn
you should try watch the talented mr ripley
i know that’s tree of ‘em 😭 i love him
❤Barry is absolutely gorgeous❤Emerald so talented❤love from Finland❤
Yes! Someone said one of mine. Cruel Intentions👍🏻
oh well time to watch all of these
I need to check out this Elordi now, interesting choices
Oooh. I love “The Innocents”.
someone needs to tell Emerald and/or Barry to get letterboxd accounts pls
Cool Hand Luke!!!
Jacob Elordi was so prepared for this.
First good list Ive seen
I had such a crush on Sophie as a kid and I still do
batman is so real
" Dont look now" was a good pick!
My favorites are Jurassic Park, Raiders of the lost Ark, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Dark Knight
Rosemary's Baby astounding. Jaws scariest of all time!
I thought Emerald would say "Talented Mr Ripley" or "Plein Soleil" 🙃
funny because comparing talented mr ripley to saltburn is so basic, she actually named her true reference. cruel intentions
@@disierra-amado5596 It's literally the same plot man... That's not reference that's steal
@@disierra-amado5596it's so funny how she acknowledged every other movies' influences on hers but the minute mr. ripley is mentioned she's like nope.. even tho if you watch mr. ripley you'd realize it's like the blueprint of saltburn 😂
This is the first time that Sophie Ellis actually looks older than his real age.
Solid
Psycho is a top 4 movie of all time
apocalypses now is so good as well as nightmare before Christmas and every Christopher nolan film
I knew one of them was gonna say cruel intentions holy shit
Jacob is valid asf for that lost
Ellie ... with don't look now??? 😮😮avantgard horror❤😮wow
Saltburn has so many cruel intentions vibes
Sophie has the best choices
lol
Jaws must be close to most people's list
Boys are are top for saying the Batman trilogy
Peak men right there
Why has no one picked Good Burger yet?
Great lists. Thank fuck
Apocalypse Now
Pan's Labyrinth
One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest. Rushmore
Shit, I always forget Jaws. That’s on my list now. With The Shining definitely
Barry is me.
The joker has taste
Sophie has good taste 😅
Did she really said 'Letterboxed'?
Yeah, Letterboxd are conducting the interview
Why do young people say Verse instead of Versus!?
Great in Saltburn, but Barry is easily the worst list of favorites I’ve seen yet.
Did they get the worst camera to show all the skin flaws or what!?
Respectfully, fuck Saltburn and specifically Emerald Fennell, good cinematography though
it's sad how boring this is because americans only know about and like american movies, which is so limited. There are countless amazing movies outside of those produced by your mother country. Learn to look outside the box.
And please interview international artists
Barry Keoghan L
we need to erase nolan's trilogy off the face of the earth. most overrated movies of all time.
An absolute nonsense of a film, do not waste your time people.
This woman should not be allowed to direct any more films
Wow the men really fumbled this one 💀
Didn't fumble anything. They gave their opinions
@@meathandsmans What's your beef, eh?
@@PlanR Ion get what you're saying, how'd they fumble anything?
@@meathandsmans Literally half of their picks were those mid ass Nolan Batman movies lol
@@PlanR and absolutely nobody cares. It's a movie, it's their opinion.
