I am soon to be a Civil Engineer in the end of the year. Being a female Engr. can be awkward to start with in a male dominated workplace. In my batch at uni, there were only 2 of us Filipina engineering students and another Filipina a year after us, not a lot of female students for engr. We both came with our parent's visas before. I managed to get a paid cadethsip to be a Cadet Project Engr while studying, starting next month, before I finish this year. I will have another 3 more years after to work as a graduate engr.
Asan na Yung next vlogggg atiiiiii. So curious paano kayo pumunta nga Australia as civil engineer
I got a super honest question with you. Some are really saying that "cost of living" is really higher on other countries (one is AU) compared to philippines. Is the migration worth it, given that our profession as engineers. Does the compensation, salary, benefits, money outweigh the cons of "high cost of living" there in australia? Thanks much.
Sincerely, an engineer in his middle 20s aspiring to migrate to a better country.
Cost of living is higher in major cities. After 5 yrs working as Civil Engr, pay gets higher. Initial pay not too much, just similar pay to other graduate pays in other industries. I did my Bachelor of Enviro Sci and now in my final year of Civil Engr. If you do uni in Australia to study engineering, in Qld we need at least 60 days paid or unpaid internship. Work visa is very important to work once you finish uni. If you apply with public sectors, they only allow permanent resident and citizens. You need to make sure the company accepts your visa type when applying for sponsorship.
Sa Aus po kayo grumaduate as CE? CE grad din po kasi ako pero sa PH lang 😅
Just got my visa. Hopefully ma-employ din ako as Graduate Civil Engineer / Structural Engineer. Will wait for your next vlog. 🙏
Question: Need ba ng drivers license for Graduate Civil Engineer position?

Hii po! I'm an incoming 3rd year college here in the Philippines and Australia has always been my dream country to work as an engineer. However, I'm struggling with my studies. The courses are getting harder and harder which is why the results of my grades are not that really good. To be honest, irregular student na po ako since I already failed one course. With that po, I'm very worried about how I'm gonna work abroad and live my dream life if my transcript of record is already ruined. I just wanna ask po if the gwa or the TOR really matters in applying for an engineering job? does it affect your position or anything like that? Hoping pp for your response. Thank you so much po!
Failure is part of success 🎉
