THANK-YOU! I watched your run-through after watching the "Beyond Solitaire" video and the 2 compliment each other very nicely. I would be having trouble without your helpful vids. I'm a very quick learner of games and seldom need help, but Imperium was a struggle (until I gave up and went to UA-cam!).

There's errata for the King of Kings in respect of the BOT. Now the rule is "If the BOT would gain King of Kings: If Barbarian gain 6 progress. If Empire gain 3 progress and draw the top dynasty card (adding it to the top of the BOT deck). This triggers the end of the game"

Your way of teaching the rules of a game is unique. You do such a great job, brother... Greetings from Greece!

Have you considered making tutorials for any GMT games eg Labyrinth, Talon or Falling Sky? There aren’t many proper how to plays of GMT games on UA-cam.

I did Versailles 1919, I did Imperial Struggle, and I did a Slovak tutorial for Falling Sky (called Pád nebes) and also for Churchill, and to be honest - I don't want to do it anymore. 😄
Those GMT rules are horrible, one of the worst rules I've ever seen. And it's true for all of their games. They all have the same structure. Great for searching, absolutely disastrous for learning the game. And the playbook doesn't really help much. By the time I do a tutorial for one GMT game I can do a tutorial for 3 other games.
And - again, on a personal note - I am not a wargamer and I don't enjoy these games much. Many of them have just way too many rules and waaaaaay too many exceptions and it's no fun for me at all. So, I'm sorry, but it looks like not many GMT games in the future.

@@nithrania-gameinanutshell They are very niche games, but not niche in the sense of sales or market, but niche in the sense of mindset. Also, GMT are "difficult" to deal with. Nice people, but very old school and seemingly unapproachable (though they actually aren't). If they were differently minded about certain "modern ways", they'd have probably put out their own "how to" videos by now, or at least more than they have.
Side-note: As ROOT is basically a COIN game, you can learn to play the COIN series by learning to play ROOT
