Deborah still performing this song in the original key after 20 years always amazes me. One of the best preserved voices of all time
Absolutely. Here in the UK she is an icon to us old "Soul Heads", but not as well known to the general masses, as she is in the US. Looks even more beautiful than she did in the '90s. Flawless voice.
You said a word there! It makes me sad because Whitney Houston was supposed to be here singing her hits as well!
Her and Gladys Knight
And extremely underated
Let me ask u something? First of all shes not old . Shes a professional why do folks after 20 years folks can't sing . heck u see in church every Sunday when preachers and the older congregation members get up there and could still blow what do u think these singers forget how to sing?
Deborah never gets the cred she deserves . That voice is epic
These were/still are gay club bangers. These songs have been remixed in more ways than you can imagine. We've always supported these women, always will. Go Ladies!
Makes you miss the 90s
haha I came here to say the same exact thing!
My thoughts exactly! Happy Pride!
Just bangers Period.
There are just bangers! All people enjoyed these songs!
The voices on these women are still epic.
You can say that again!
Yes!!
Yessssss
cept cece
@@goliaboishe still sounds great. not everyone can preserve their voice nor utilize it to its full extent for daytime tv
Omg!!!!! Deborah Cox is literally the most underrated RnB singer that the 90’s produced.
She was presented as the next Whitney I remember well her being Clive Davis protégée and had amazing hits.
Of course there’s only one of all of them but she’s an amazing performer and talent.
I'm an executive driver and had the pleasure of transporting her recently. So down to earth and very nice!
It was going to be Jennifer Hudson and Christina Aguilera next to be whitney Houston not Deborah Cox. Sorry 😞
@@mari2cam lucky you! How lovely to hear that thank you for sharing!
@@tyestrong5726 honey you’re obviously very young but Jennifer Hudson was 14 years old when Deborah’s first album cane out in 1995 and Clive Davis himself presented her as the next Whitney (even though every artist is unique) Google it. You must be joking about Xtina of course.
She is a Canadian treasure and icon! ❤🇨🇦
Robin S voice is so powerfully clear and Deborah Cox is just Beautiful.
I will FOREVER root for Cece she was the soundtrack to my childhood!
Me too. I was in London in a club. A young man was sure I was Cece. He would not take no for an answer. I can't sing at all. I even sang for him. He still wasn't convinced. I showed her picture of her to my mom. Mom said she looks like family. That was way back in the day. Seeing her here not sure if we still look alike. Lol!
Yes and my late teens
Sameeeeee! I have this one core memory hearing her song in my walkman walking down the street feeling like a million bucks
Period!!!!
Keep on walking was a joint
THIS is Black disco/house EXCELLENCE!!!!
Robin S. intro was killing and so was Deborah’s ending and those voices from all three Goddesses were epic
OMG these women were a huge part of our Childhood! Thank you to Whoopi and the VIEW!
Childhood---For some of us we were in our 20's at the club partying with these songs!!!!!
Cece Peniston, Robin S, Deborah Cox all did great.
My jaw kept dropping lower and lower, then finally to the Earth’s crust as EACH. ONE. of these ICONS executed 25-30+yr old songs like they were performing them for the first time. These are NOT easy songs to sing, much-less still “have it” after a literal lifetime. Simply, bravo to these ladies. And gotta add, they ALL look fantastic!!! 🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
My jaw hit the floor at your immaculate skin! Talk about a face card not declining!
Amen!❤
"How you doing"
Wendy williams.
@@tyestrong5726 😂😂😂😂😂👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
@@JloveLamar 😫🤦🏾♂️😆🤷🏾♂️….That’s so kind of you!!
NOT THIS WHOLE ICONS GREATEST HITS CONCERT?!!?!?! BRUH I WOULD PAY TO SEE THIS again and again! so great!
Deborah Cox sang DOWN chile!!!! Her voice is in fine form... all of these ladies are so talented.
Great 90s nostalgia is the best remedy to forget all of the horrible things we see today.
Sang Down!!
True...
That Deborah Cox track is an underappreciated GEM
How it has 86 million views on UA-cam?🤷
That track is a gay anthem...no way is it underappreciated...
It hit #2 on The Billboard Hot 100 in 1998. It’s definitely not underrated. That song has been all over the radio in the late 90s and early 00s.
Deborah Cox’s vocals still slayed it🙌🏽✨
You can tell Sunny was a young adult in the ‘90s. I love it!
I would see them in concert, no question! Powerhouse voices!!!
Together!!! ❤
Deborah STILL GOT EVERY SINGLE NOTE🎵🥰💪🏽💯
Deborah Cox gave me chills!!!!!
Well it's Deborah, Her voice has been undeniable for a long time
Deborah Cox is from Canada. She would bring Juneteenth love to Canada.Would she?
Me as well! Absolutely love this song along with Absolutely Not! 💯
@@lamarjohnson4023 I hope not; we don't want that toxic energy over here. She's welcome to perform back home though, she's talented.
Amazing voice!!!! 🙌
What kind of place would America be without black music. It's cultural reach has changed the world..
Exactly. There would be no american music without Black ppl. Periodt!
There would be American music, just not with awesomeness that black ppl bring to the music!
One of my favorite content creators said he wanted to move to America as a kid because of Black culture
Their voices are seasoned and immaculate! I'm so thankful they made this appearance on the View!
I am so happy I grew up with these dance music anthems! Back when dance music had soul, meaning and was there to make u sing and happy! Glad that some years after they are still as fresh as the 1st time I heard them! ❤❤❤
The era of soulful House Music ruling the charts went from the 80s all the way till only a few years ago and will always come back. But something about 90-95 was definitely special.
Yes. These are sangers. No lip syncing. Cece, Robin and Deborah hit all their notes.
Robin is lip syncing to Andrea Martin
OMG....My childhood memories just popped in my head. Dancing in the living room with my mom. R.I.P! Mommy. Thank you the view for the memories.
I loved everything about this segment. These 3 songs were what I grew up on. From Whoopi getting down and singing along to how great these women still sound to the Tiktok video.
And Sunny..and yes, I grew up to these songs also
Ce Ce and Robin were a massive part of my youth but I barely even know who Deborah Cox is. :/ Guess I better learn.
@@SpaceTimeManipulatorSTM she's great!
All 90s Classics
Deborah Cox needs to be studied at Juliard. Her voice is as good now as when she hit the scene in the 90s. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I was just about to say that!! 😅
And she looks the same too!! Beautiful!! 😍
Growing up in the 80s/90s we actually had singers
Now this is what you call "SANGIN'!!! Take note young girls!!!
Deborah you get flowers 💐💐Ce Ce you get flowers 💐💐
Robin you get flowers 💐💐. Thank you Ladies for The awesome good times/ memories ❤️
They also should have had Crystal Waters in the lineup. Her popular song was "Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless)".
Thank You!
100% Pure Love
MS. ROBIN, PREACH!!! Your song is still relevant up to this day!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
I’m a 37 year old young old head, shout out to these ladies for their music that surrounded my childhood, growing up in the 90’s, house music and dance was a very important part of the 1990’s
I'm crying cause today's music at the top of the charts doesn't have this kind of talent. So sad
These vocalists are amazing. The time capsule metaphor is true for all of them!
Deborah had to remind us!! 😍 These ladies were awesome!
This is why i cant come out of the 80's and 90's because we truly had the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Deborah killed it as usual ♥️♥️
Deborah Cox was on FIRE! ❤
Wow!! I grew up listening to those amazing singers. 80/90's best time
51 now 😂
Deborah Cox is criminally underrated.
I’m here for CeCe Peniston. I wish she would drop a new album. I love her beats and voice
Deborah Cox still a vocal beast..
Thanks For Having Cece Robin S. And Deborah Cox On! They Are Timeless And Definitely Did There Thing! Love Them All!!!!
All 3 were outstanding. Deborah Cox omg. That strong voice
And this is why the 90’s is one of the greatest eras musically ! These ppl still can sannngggg! I mean Robin S is a power house!
It warms my heart to see all of these amazing WOMEN OF COLOR STILL doing what they love and KILLING IT!! 💓💓💓
i'm a white woman
Singers that sing for real!!!
I'm 35 and I just relived my entire childhood thru these songs in dark times these songs are apart of my music therapy playlist
39 here and loving every second
Deborah cox still has it that's 1 of my favorite songs from her I was waiting for her to hit that high note
ALL of these songs are staples in my playlists and mixes but THE DEBORAH COX is a consistent, timeless POWERHOUSE! Not only is she still incredibly beautiful but that VOICE is IMMACULATE after 30 years of albums, touring and broadway! ✨👌🏾✨
Black Girl Magic! They look SO good and sound AMAZING! #Longevity Happy Juneteenth! ❤️🖤💚✊🏽👊🏽
Robin S and Deborah Cox, still hitting those notes! ❤❤❤❤
These ladies look and sound beautiful!!!! Just Amazing!!!🎵🔥🎶🔥🎶🎵🔥🎵🎤💃🏽🔥🎤💃🏾🔥🎤💃🏽🔥
The sound is off or something. These women can still blow.
Seems like the backing vocals, they wanted the audience to sing along but raised the audience mic too early?
I'd expect ABC production to be experts at sound, That reverb was a bit unnecessary.
Come on y’all this was great. They still here doing what they love. I’m sure you have something else to critique 🤗
Everybody don't know about dance mixes and fast tracks. These songs are B side mixes Not the version that you normally hear playing on R&B radio
Deborah Cox is going to SLAY in The Wiz on Broadway!
And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give CeCe her flowers. She is one of the ORIGINALS to bring dance to the mainstream...even if she didn't want to be!
♥
Robin s voice is incredible 🔥❤️
Oh my goodness 😍 how on earth did I miss this???? Oh my goodness so glad they posted this clip ...Oh my goodness these GIRLS are the real deal🔥🔥🔥🔥🎈🎉🎈💕💕💕
Deborah Cox if you do not get your fine self back on the touring circuit! That voice is IMMACULATE!
i hope these kind of music makes a comeback.
Me too!👈🏾
Dance music has made a comeback in recent years lol. Renaissance came out last summer and Break My Soul has a sample of the remix of Robin S Show Me Love
Oh gosh - feeling old here. Remember dancing to all these songs back in my clubbing days! They all sound fantastic!
Same!!
It's okay, we danced until we were soaking wet😅😅
Same.

What about Deborah?
@@gregXxo Of course Deborah is also...lol
@@mcmc8959 you had me worried for a second 🤣
Y'ALL...
Deborah literally sounds like a recording. Flawless.
I know no one would see this but I am 26, living in New York , a drag queen living with HIV. I have no older brothers and sisters to ask what to do because they all died 80’s, & 90’s. Seeing these women, not only my favortie artists of the 80’s and 90’s but to see them just right now, during these anti-LBGT laws and just I knew these women made this music for the underground, club kids, my brothers and sisters who lived with HIV. They made this music for them. As a 26 year old today I’m crying so bad sitting here re watching this because I feel my ancestors dancing and watching with me. Every time I hear all of these songs, everything goes away and I’m in the middle of a dance floor, no one else but me. Thank you ladies so much 🙏🏻 -Isaiah Latimer
I have all of the songs on my House Music playlist. Memories from my clubbing nights.
I’m so glad The View had these three memorable singers on together. All you needed was Gloria Gaynor ( “I Will Survive”)
Maaaan! I’m having flashbacks from ‘92 on up! LOVE this 🫶🏽 Sing, ladies 🥹🥹💘
This was the 90s. Some of the best songs from back then. I loved all three ladies growing up. You couldn't tell me my name wasn't Deborah Cox back then😂😂😂
Salute to these 3 Queens, true vocalists that have stood the test of time through their gift to sing. Ladies look Beautiful as well! ✨
Forgot how great Cece's voice is and I love Cox.... All 3 are great.❤❤❤ SHOW US LOVE!!!!!
I miss this!!! Those girls are fierce!!!🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤
That’s what you call gifted singers! That’s a gift!! I remember dancing and singing to CeCe’s keep on walking, couldn’t tell me nothing!
This was a great way to celebrate Juneteenth!! Kudos to The View producers that came up with the idea for this segment
