Awesome set up you got there mate, I’m a window cleaner in Birmingham but working from my car with gardiner backpack and clx22, I would like to upgrade to a van later in the year
James Styles a backpack in your car is a great way to start and build up your round. I does make a real difference having a van and not having to carry barrels of water and fill up your backpack but keep at it and the van will come in time. 👍
Absolutely brilliant channel Dave. I love how you sacrifice your own spare time to give step by step advice to others. I myself have a small window cleaning round (2 days a month) which is a mix of trad and wfp .. The rest of the month I fit windows, fascias and guttering.. I have the pure water filling up in my shed so that is no problem at all and I use a facelift backpack with Harris pole which is ok for now.. I've been looking at the clx22, gardiners swivel and the 35cm Dupont ultimate brush... Do you think it would be worth me getting this along with a univalve?.. Eventually I'm going to get a 400l baffled tank for the van and possibly build the round up more and leave the window fitting I reckon. Thank you for your great channel
T T Teesside-Wildcamp thanks very much for your kind words they are really appreciated👍 I actually started off with a 18’ aluminium Harris pole but I found that twisting the clamps gave me tennis elbow so I actually upgraded to a clx18. Compared to the Harris they are a fantastic pole but if you can stretch yourself a bit further the slx is much better. I love the ultimate brushes and the DuPont is probably the best one as long as you aren’t using hot water which sends them a bit soft. Hope the round goes well and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need any advice with anything 👍
@@squeakycleandave1 Thank you for the very good advice. Thing I'll get the slx instead. It's so refreshing to have someone who gives genuine help and feedback. Thank you again squeaky clean Dave👍. Top man !!!
Ashley Jacobs Hi Ashley. Thanks for watching the videos. I wasn’t 100% sure and didn’t want to give you the wrong info so I sent you questions to Austin from AW Services as he’s the man who would know
nice setup, I like the fuse box. I'm messing around with crimp connectors and don't really know what I'm doing. How or where do you learn this basic electronics stuff?
hi dave i want to put fuse box in like yours which is very good by the way i know hgow to do that part i want too put a switch in also. what i want to know is how to wire that up so like yours . i can turn everything of at night . thanks keep your videos coming they are very good.
Brendan Murphy. Hi Brendan. It was only a cheap one like this rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F262983546233 But I don’t think I paid this much for it
Hey, great video. Can you please recommend a carbon fibre pole system that's good enough and won't make me go bankrupt? I use the Unger aluminium pole and it's killing me! Thanks
Jefferson Faria I would recommend an Ova8. Best pole I’ve used by far. Not the cheapest but the cheapest Isn’t always the best. It’s worth the investment. Thanks for watching 👍
I have an immersion heater fitted in my tank so I fill up at the end of the day and put the heater on which gets the water up to about 50 degrees centigrade. this makes cleaning easier and stops the water and the inside of the van from freezing. I have also insulated the inside of the van which helps a little. 👍
Squeaky Clean Dave got it sorted had an extra wire We’re would I get a wheelchair motor to make the electric hose reel Can’t seem to source one here in ireland
patrick tierney I got mine off eBay. Try this link. If it’s no good try 250watt 24volt electric scooter motor rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F142237271136
It needs to be a 12volt leisure battery. The higher the ah the more power it stores. For a one man set up minimum 75ah and for a 2 man set up minimum 100ah but you can use bigger for both setups
Could do with you here with me to help me out as I want to set up a window cleaning business have no knowledge at all on setting a DIY system up. The prices of some of these company set ups are so expensive didn't realise how much it is.
Fantastic little set up sir

Where did you get the TDs meter dave?
Hi Dave Thanks for all the great video's. I would like to ask you whether you can use a 12v battery 20 amps on a 12v 9amps pump. Ashley
YES. Use a 7.5amp brown maxi blade fuse to protect the pump and controller
