Thanks Martin That Video was perfect timing as we set off tomorrow ( Thurs 9 May ) on our first Euro tour. We go to South of France twice a year but this will be the campers first trip to Europe. We found the video very informative and easy to understand. I hope we dont have to use the healthcare system but at least now we have some knowledge of how to gain access to the services should we need to do so. Dennis & Tina

We have always taken Red Pennant, but not needed to use it......yet, but nice to have it confirmed we have chosen well. Will be using again in September/October. Very informative and reassuring.

Excellent advice. We live here and are fully covered for our health care but I cannot speak highly enough of the Spanish health service. But very reassuring what you say for visitors.
Thank you that was very interesting and reassuring to know - we had a similar experience in Spain a few years ago non campervan related, they treated everything very quickly and were thorough 😁 funnily enough new EHIC card arrived today 😂 hope you are both keeping well
H Graeme thanks for watching , despite van travel in 20 European Countries Spain is the only one we have experienced the health care system in , but not that this comment is a slur on Spain it's our favourite , just that we're qualified to comment elsewhere but I'm sure the EU probably works similar where ever you go. If you have an Irish passport & you travel to another EU country, apply for an E111 card before you leave. This will provide free public healthcare in all EU states. Also, your health insurance will proably also work there
