  • Kate Barvick, a 2014 graduate from Arlington High School said she has always had an interest in local history. As a girl scout, she earned her Bronze and Silver awards through a walking tour of Arlington’s historical sites and natural history scavenger hunt in Cambridge. When it came time for her Gold Star, the longtime Arlington Community Media volunteer set her sites on an hour-long documentary focusing on Spy Pond.
Arlington State Rep. Sean Garballey narrates, with an introduction from Arlington Selectmen Kevin Greeley.

Great documentary. I moved to Arlington almost 15 years ago but now that my kids are growing up here I became more interested in its history. Thank you for making this video.

Sean does a fine job of narrating. I fondly recall the shaving cream fights at the pond.
