The first season was very popular. I think it’s pretty much guaranteed a complete run of the series.
Hopefully it'll be better than the second cour of season 1. It got so boring, I forced myself to finish it

I love that more of Yor’s and Lloyd’s undercover world are going to be crossing. That was one thing, especially from Yor’s side, that I feel was missing. A lot of Lloyd’s spy work but not much of Yor’s following her intro. To see them potentially crossing paths is going to be so great!

To be fair, it is called Spy X Family, so the espionage is expected to be a lot more prominent. Still, I’m super stoked to see how Yor works as an assassin!
@nintendolife25 too add, it is Loid mission to why the family is together, so it is a reason we follow him and anya more. But to get more Yor, will be exciting
It seems as though they’re foreshadowing Yor to be given the job of assassinating Lloyd or possibly they’ll be fending off another assassin who could be sent after them.
@@galonski64 @nintendolife25 y'all are both absolutely correct. Lloyd is the reason the 3 of them are together, so it makes sense that his story is more of the focus. I think back, though, to the original trailer when it's Anya is basically fangirlling over her "dad" being a spy and her "mom" being an assassin only for us to never see the assassin work. It's really something I wanted to see more of. The scenes with her saving Anya and playing tennis with the spy were great, I loved those.
Keep in mind too part of the reason she agreed to Lor's proposal is because she needed a better cover and shield for her assassin work.
Again, y'all are right that Lloyd's story is about saving the world and should be the A plot. I just want to see more of Yor doing things like having to cover a "late night" or needing to "visit family" without making Lloyd suspicious.
Yor fans about to be extremely satisfied this season and she honestly might win over a lot of people that didnt like her before. Really excited for this season.
I really didn’t like her at first because I wanted Loid to be a single father… but Anya would probably be neglected and need maternal care if that happened..

The fact that they got CORY WONG on this soundtrack is absolutely mind melting to me. Hes nowhere near mainstream, and hes a Western artist, however hes one of my all time favorites. They hired one of the greatest modern Jazz/Funk musicians to play in this, its crazy, and this season comes out on my bday. Double win

I’m SO excited for season 2!! Yor is my favorite character and I wish she had gotten an arc of her own in season 1 or to just see more of her Assassin side/organization, in basically every episode we see Loid and his team work together and stuff but we pretty much only have 2-3 scenes of Yor being an Assassin, from what the trailer shows us it seems we’ll be getting more of her, can’t wait!
This season will focus a lot on her assassin work so you will really enjoy this season!

@@runawaycloak1752 I think we got a lot more of LLoyd's work as a spy, but very few plot lines showing Yor as an assassin. It was just sort of implied that she was vaguely killing people, but I think viewers were curious as to who she was killing and for what. I doubt its just random people

I always say this : the fact that the mains characters are 27 and 28 is so insane. People don't realise how psychologically healthy the writers must be to set this age for main characters. It could have been 20 and 22, 24 and 26 but no. They CHOSE 27 and 28.
I like how this anime is a wholesome romantic sitcom but it has dark and serious moments as well to contrast and make us appreciate the the light.
vaundy and ado are perfect choices for opening and ending themes! can't wait for this season!

This show has the PERFECT HOOK: seeing a fake family slowly but surely begin to care about each other is amazing, and I can’t wait for the show to continue to show us how much Lois, Yor, and Anya grow as a family.
This season promises to be better than the first, we're going to have a lot of fun, especially the relationship between Yor and Loid

This show feels like a nice break from all the other anime I've been watching. It's so silly but it also has potential to be really great once its all over. Definitely going in the right direction by tying yor into the storyline more. We all know its loids mission but yors got insane potential! Super excited for season 2!

I've been wondering when Yor and Loid's jobs would collide. They just seem like too great of plot points to not be used together, and I'm pretty interested to see how it's all gonna happen this time!
They are gonna collide but to temper expectations a little bit and I’m probably stating the obvious don’t expect them to figure out each others secrets until the tail end of the series

Does this mean Yor is getting more screen time as an assassin?! If so, I honestly can't wait! My one complaint with the show so far was that Yor didn't get enough time dedicated to actually being an assassin (because, on the few occasions she did, she was fricking epic) so I'm psyched to potentially see that issue fixed. I mean, based on the line near the end, she may also go through an arc where she realizes she may not need to be an assassin anymore but, honestly, I'm kind of on board for that too as long as the pacing of the arc is done well and we get to see her do some cool stuff first.

my theory is one day they have to meet as twighlight and thorn princess seeing each other with their real identities, but before that I want to see a moment where they are both put on the same job, and almost see each other, while both organizations start to put each other on the others radar, with twighlight looking into who this thorn princess is, and yor looking to see who twighlight is.
Very sad that I won't hear Hoshino here anymore but Ado, Vaundy AND Cory Wong?? I AM HERE FOR IT!

You know what would’ve been a better story? Twilight was told that his next mission was to retire from being a spy. Reluctantly, he does. He then finds a wife and has a daughter with her. Years later, he’s asked to come out of retirement. That’s when we learn his wife is an assassin and his child is psychic.
