Gay Mean Girls is a Canadian queer coming-of-age web series that follows prom committee member Lucy Ching (Vicky Li, who was 15 at the time of filming) as she seeks to understand her sexuality, charm her best friend Miranda, and fit in with the gay community. Based on a viral short film that earned over 3.5 million hits on UA-cam, the project was written and directed by queer women of colour.
