Funny... I just got flamed by two players for not helping my team deal with a ball. I told them that if I do, I lose all my value as doom and play exactly how the ball wants me to play. They refused to listen and proceeded to be extremely toxic. Edit: My game was a plat lobby
On hog, something I learned from Cyx is that you always shoot before you hook so you guarantee that your target gets down to one shot range. Otherwise, everything else comes with game sense and pure mechanical skill.
I knew it was plat the moment I saw the Hanzo farming damage into the Hog. Hanzo mains usually do that when they're in plat, where they throw everything into the tank and get lucky kills on the backline by missing. Also, the enemy dps not swapping for a Pharah-Mercy is such a plat thing, especially when there's a Hanzo. They got a lucky arrow into a flying character once and now they think they will always do it. Also. Zen-Mercy. That’s a plat support comp if i've seen one. My plat days are over since a lot of time ago, but I'm glad the rank still plays the same as it used to.

I have a friend who LOVES doomfist. He looks up tech, him and i strategize and do call-outs. But there's one problem. My friend cannot for the life of him ignore a wrecking ball. He'll be playing doom and dump all of his cooldowns and attention into the ball, who is behind our team, letting the ball's team do whatever they want. And the ball just rolls away or kills our support anyways We lose these games

Yes Emongg, but he's in gold-plat so if he's not perma focused on the ball his team will just flame and report him. Happens all the time in that rank, the automatic expectation for a tank to perma peel
